Stupid Question about twin discipline

twin discipline, it affects mind flay but not mind sear correct? does it affect penance too?

Channeled spells are unaffected by Twin Disciplines with the exception of Mind Flay. It was patched specifically to work for Mind Flay to help with Shadow's DPS. It doesn't work on Penance, Mind Sear, Hymn, etc. It does however increase the shielded amount of PW:S.

Except it was confirmed to work with Penance as of 3.0.3, and followed through to 3.0.8 and consistently remaining all along.
