so i was looking at the model for this character and it reminds me alot of Alexstraza

which made me go off into a thought. what if Queen Lana'thel is actually a dragon (dead one like a frostwyrm), but her humanoid form kept her wings out

Well, she was. They just gave her some background, is all. And it's not even on WoWWiki yet, it's just that, on the PTR, she appears during the Quel'delar chain and tells her story.

Being a King or Queen doesn't always mean there HAS TO be a male/female counterpart
