I'm currently lvling a Ret pally and was wondering if armor pen was worth getting or if i should stick to straight strength stacking?

STR STR STR, arp only affects ~40% of our damage.
If you win a roll on whatever's BiS for you at any time, that's one thing. Never gem it, never bother; it's not a priority, and only affects two of Ret's spells. Strength. Always gem Strength, or even Strength/Crit' cuts if you need to.Originally Posted by Vapo

And then Varian Chintercepted Garrosh's cast, then sliced the orcs head off. 24 hours later he was found riding Deathwing over Orgrimmar, burning the city to the ground, laughing maniacally.
1. Read the stickies!!!! They are there for a reason and are updated constently (the Ret FAQ was just updated for the PTR 3.3 changes)Originally Posted by Locó
2. We already have 60% ArP basically, and only 40% of our attacks are affected at all by ArP.
It affects 3 things which total for only 35-40% of our damage.Originally Posted by The Good Captain
