I play a ret pally and I have to say that this weapon has beyond retarded stats on it. The insanely huge gap between this and an epic far exceeds that of any previous legendary. This thing must be a mega bitch to obtain, and I hope it is.

hmmm, do you think those shards are like quest items as sigils or you reckon theyre shards like valanyr so that only 1 person at a time will be able to obtain them?
also been wondering how to start the quest chain, and if the shadows edge is craftable or a drop from a boss.

I don't think we are gonna see alot of those, i dont know how we are gonna get http://db.mmo-champion.com/i/49888/shadows-edge/ to start with, probably wont be easy, and after that, the quest to turn it into shadowmourne, will be pretty tuff.
