Spriests Saurfang DPS (post it)

So i know the changes to spriests were pretty good and now we are rocking the charts but we arent completely overpowered single target dps. Im a decent spriest, not overly good as i put it. So id like to see other spriests dps on the saurfang fight to see how we are compareing on single target dps.

I wouldn't call 242220 damage on the blood beasts "single target dps"...

Anyways! I did 'bout 8.1k on him this week, ignoring adds, of course.
I don't have any log of it, thought.

i know i did 242k on blood beasts only coz i was asked to attack a certain beast, still makes my 2400 even more impressive because imho i lost a little dps attacking the beasts.

Yeah, it's not like the DoTs on Saurfang keep ticking while he DoTs up a beast and won't have enough time to refresh SW:P

killed myself dotting blood beasts. My guild kills the damn things way to fast. It is just a waste of effort.

Dks and rogues have a rediculous unfair advantage on the fight with fan spreading poisons for full damage and pestilence not being considered an aoe thus not getting the penalty.

next week , hopefully if we can get some damn gear to drop that isnt caster leather my numbers will increase. They will increase regardless as next time i wont waste my effort attacking blood beasts or at least not dotting them anyway.

I did pull 4th on Lady D and 1st on gunship though Gunship is gimmick fight.

was 4th on lady D only behind the 2 rogues and ele shaman we had on her full time.

So all of u doing 8k + dps in this fight are killing adds too? all of em? cause in my guild we just use a tactic every ranged kills everything and let our melee have 11k dps plus
at that fight i pull at most 7.8k dps but i'm killing all blood beasts.

Ive done adds and been straight up on the boss. honestly there is no real difference. if anything i gain a bit from multi dotting the adds as they come out and getting right back on the boss.

No im never asked to be one of the strictly on add kiters because my guild knows that there are better classes for that. im a dot class after all most adds will be dead by the time i start doing damage to them.

So we designate about 4 ranged to focus solely on adds and the rest of us just help as needed... seems to work out well as i am rarely needed to come off the boss.

i got to pull 7,3k dps on him last week, but Shadow is only my offspecc and i should try it again with the way im geared atm

Well I was being lazy and not attacking adds because i knew they wouldn't be a problem and I just sat on the boss. I received a PI but only one. Our other spriest did 8313 while killing the beasts and he didn't receive a PI. If I attacked the adds aswell as the boss my dps might've dropped or gone up depends how long it took the other ranged to kill the adds. For single target i peaked at 13k.
