What's with your meta gem? I really suggest you to use Chaotic Skyflare Diamond instead of Insightful Earthsiege Diamond.
Shoulder enchant: Switch if with Greater Inscription of the Storm if possible.
Also, Nightmare Tear in the belt? Why?
Otherwise, yo can loose some hit But I know this sounds harder than it seems.
*coughs* Don't forget you aren't a healer. I bet you can get a trinket that will suit your spec.

Nice one getting the Dislodged Foreign Object, im shit jealous You're overall haste's pretty immense, although your crit is a bit low!? I was also going to comment you gemming in some 12sp + 10crit gems but I can't really see anywhere you can add those to even get the socket bonus', so overall it's looking like you know what you're doing. Although you could probably work towards moving into 2p t9 instead of having neither that or 4p t10 yet.

Vaiix, you shouldn't be raiding under the hitcap. You could quite easily buy the hit wand with Triumph emblems to bring you to 2 hit under the cap. You should replace that trinket ASAP too.

And yes, I'm still rocking the 2pc T8...So far, I have not been able to pick up any better, as I am in a guild that is focused on 10man raiding and the bonus to DP is just too sweet! I think they will be the last 2 pieces to be replaced to get 4pc t10...not only because they are crazy expensive and my options of getting emblems are slightly limited due to the fact that not too many good 25man pugs run around...

I know i need to upgrade a few enchants, im at 432 enchanting... and i need one more 23 sp gem instead of the 19 that i had in my bank... the highest DPS i have ever gotten was 2.6K in Herioc HoR. Im usually at 12 FPS or so and around 70 ms, so my suckage is all skill!

Hey, you should be able to pull much better than 2.6k DPS, so I would recommend checking out the shadow priest DPS sticky, and checking out shadowpriest.com.

Your gear is ok...I'm not sure why you got the healing Ashen Verdict ring instead of the DPS one. Your offhand is awful. Run ToC10 for an offhand, or try for Shriveled Heart (which is quite nice). Also, replace your band of guile with Band of the Invoker (35 triumph badges). I would say just keep running heroics until you can replace a lot of your old gear. Finally, the t9 2 piece is great, try to get that as soon as you can. Your socketing is ok and your enchants aren't bad either.

I did state i'm using +40 hit food which brings me to the cap whilst raiding, the benfits from doing this surpass having a 35sp foodbuff by swapping out gear to get hitcapped.

And as for the point of you saying I shouldn't be raiding under the hit cap anyway, you're at 288. As far as I knew the hit cap was 289?

I'm just a bit puzzled why you gemmed for the Int bonus on Neck but not a +5 Spell Power bonus in various other slot? Very nice gear, but I wouldn't have gotten the T10 gloves so soon (or at all). I personally prefer to keep 2P T9 for as long as I can. GD that's some high crit you have esp. vs my setup.

Ok i have been redoing my gear and gems, I did not know that my hit was up there so with that being said. I have been told to get rid of gear that has hit, now what i would like to know is which gear should i do first ..

or
pants and hands -I can get rid of over 120 hit and replace them with about 100 or so haste.

I am just trying to be better at a shadow priest. I like to heal and I like the benefits. But Being a Shadow is more rewarding to me when I see that my first Main Charater can fight as well...

Do NOT break the 2p T9 bonus. Replace either the shoulder, helm (with the one from Ony), or wand (if you can get the one from ToC 10.)

not my shadow priest but friend one and i know he needs some help. His dps is ok but we think it could be higher. His rotation is ok but maybe there is few things he could change on his gear. He should get t9 chest soon (that wil be a nice upgrade) and i suggested him to get another trinket instead Talsiman of resurgence. What do ya think about Nevermelting Ice Crystal from pit of saron ? from what i saw on different char here is that you guys don't have lot of crit. He's already at 24% and with this trinket proc will give him more but he'll get a passive 111spll that should be better than 128int. waitin your comments and suggestions =)

guy above me, your about 100 over hit, easy way to drop that would be:
1. jaraxus 25 drops nice pants.
2. holy t9 pants, itemized well with haste, sp, spirit.
There are better ways, but since that is an alt thats an easy way to drop the extra hit and raise your dps without a lot of effort.

Things I do know, I gemmed for straight haste in a few pieces of gear. that was when I had 500 haste or so, going to be replacing those when I get upgrades. the badge ring is a slight (about 5 points) upgrade over my ring from algalon, as soon as the ring drops off 25 man gunship that will be replaced.
