    Re: ventrilo?

Ventrilo itself is free, as is connecting to a vent server.

Renting a vent server for your own personal use however, is not. Do a google for ventrilo server, you can get them for fairly cheap... 10-20 bucks a month maybe.

I think Teamspeak 3 is the best one now.
Ventrilo was relay good but it lack some, and many Mac users had problem with it.

we tested out TS3 when it come and it was a great software, many are now chancing to TS3 and it rules
I and my guild like the new Teamspeak 3 so much and we love it.

    Re: ventrilo?

The only problem Mac users have with Ventrilo is with a certain codec and I can't remember what it is. But its easily fixed with a server setting. Also some of the options Window Users have aren't available to them, but its really not noticeable at all.

Most realms have a public vent server, you could just leech off of that if you want.

    TS3 is better.

Most peoples mics sound better and alot of people with just annoying feedback or sounds when they talk are gone.

There are more options for your server and allow more options(admin functions in TS are always better)

It will always work as such so just understand this now everyone we had TS2,Vent,TS3 see the pattern? so vent 2 will take over down the line followed by TS4
