Cataclysm and Honor

Is honor typically reset for a new expansion? I can't remember from previous expansions and I'm wondering if I will need to save a bit for Cata or if it will be reset.

i believe it resets when u ding 71, or in this case 81

Honor points have never been reset up to this date, if i recall correctly.

honor points won't reset but new items will cost much more honor. so they'll probably also up the honor cap with cataclysm

Which is way too low considering how expensive EACH piece is these days

I sat at 75k for days before realizing it. It really is too low. They'll likely just raise the cap and then make the prices higher, so that you can't possibly save up enough for the good rewards.

They shouldn't, although I'm sure they will raise it. The cap is extremely low now, and imo should be probobly twice as high. I know Blizz wants to make sure everyone doesn't hoarde honor to get gear the day it's released, but whats the difference between if i get it today then if i get it in 4 days?

They also need a way to trade your old PvP gear in. Right now you have to delete it to free up space, and it's hard to delete stuff you worked hard for. Even 10% would be okay for a turn in.
