    Shadow priest stats

I was wondering as a shadow priest (just hit 80 and cant find any info) what your stat priorities are?

    Would it be:
    1.Spell power
    2.Haste
    3.Crit

    Any info would help thx!

It's all in the sticky on the top of this forum: Shadow DPS 101.

You are, however, essentially right, though capping hit goes before all of those.

Hit cap (17% without talents gear, 11% with talents (292hit rating), 10% if you have draenei(264 hit rating), then
    Spellpower > Haste > Crit > Spirit.

It is actually 289/263 hit rating but everything else is correct. If you want to know what to gem, simcraft your gear to find the PP value of each stat.

If he just hit 80 the PP values won't be any where near correct because they are only true once you are wearing a mix of 251 and 264 ilvl gear... PP values aren't worth anything to someone beginng to gear up.

Instead all he/she should do is goto shadowpriest.com, check out the BRGA thread for which there is a link at the top of the page and attempt to get as may items as high on that list for each slot while maintaining a 289 or 263 hit rating (whatever is applicable for you).

Gem for socket bonuses using Runed Cardinal Rubies, Purified Dreadstones and Reckless Ametrines and actually take some time to read the shadow priest sticky, because your question would have been answered in there.

Considering haste is also a mana strain, you should simply aim for a lot of spellpower in your starting gear.

Getting 4xT9.232 is always a good start.
