This band has completely blown me away, I have no idea how I've never heard of them or given them a chance. Such a large discography to get through too, so far everything I've heard has been fantastic.

Warrel Dane was found dead today in his apartment. Heart attack. Time to blast some Sanctuary all day long.
Was even on the Greek news.
Rip.
Metallica
It's always one of my favorite bands. Their songs are great both music wise and lyrics wise.
Saw Oathbreaker last night.
Atmosphere was super weird but they were brilliant.
Lovely folks after the gig as well.
Some proper MDM, straight into your face. Finnish band ofc.
That riffing at 2:33 ftw.
Haven't listened to this in ages, easily one of the best albums of the past decade. Shoegaze and metal fit so well together.
Just finished transferring all my ratings from Sputnik to RYM. Much better site, already used to the (arguably worse) interface and liking all the features like automated recs and the calendar.

I would highly recommend these guys; they feature a former member of Battle Beast and their debut album is INCREDIBLE.
I think we can pretty safely do the EoY lists now, right?

I'll have my top ten/fifteen soon. Mine will probably have more "traditional" metal this year, if you can call it traditional.

Also, too late to make the list, but at first listen this would've definitely been a candidate.
Preliminary top 3:
Nokturnal Mortum - Verity / Істина
Below - Upon a Pale Horse
Unleash the Archers - Apex

Mirror Reaper, Hiss Spun and In Contact are the only albums I've revisited more than a couple times. I did enjoy that new dying fetus album when it came out though.
