I would have to agree with Synyster Gates. The two solos you mentioned are perfect examples, but there are countless others that are also good. I think he is incredibly talented, whether or not he's the best IDK, but I think he make the solos fit the pace of the song very well! Zacky does a pretty good job backing him up, and together their back-to-back type solos are sick nasty, especially live

No other guitarist puts so much soul into the pieces they play, like him. John is a great and free spirit that, compared to other money-horny artists, express himself through his music. People are blessed by God for being able to listen to and enjoy his music. There are lots of greats guitarists out in the world, but there will only be one like John.
