AC2 help

So I was playing Assassins Creed 2 and while I was fighting, my Altiars Sword breaks! I thought it was indestructible or w/e. Has this happened to anyone else? If so is there a way to fix it? They do not sell another one. :'(

By the time I had my Altiars Sword, I was already done with the main game.

If it broke, then I dont know what to tell you. Buy a new sword?

I didn't even know weapons in this game could break lol I spent my time assassinating everyone and running around on roofs

i have had armor break but i just went to the blacksmith to get it fixed. so try that for the sword if you haven't already tried.
