Was wondering if it was possible for an undead DK to Cannibalize his ghoul if it died. Just curious.

The tool-tip might imply that you can, but as far as I am aware - but I do NOT play an Undead/Forsaken - this only works on corpses of "hostile" players and NPCs.

Although I haven't ever tried, I'm pretty sure that it's impossible since you cannot cannibalize friendly players/NPCs. Originally Posted by Valquirie

Don't the ghoul'd corpse last pretty short? I'd have problems to let it die anyway, with 25k+ hp =P

Unless they changed it I used to cannibalize this one hunter i always ran with. She used to get pissed whenever she died we rolled on who got to cannibalize the body. That was in BC heroics though so not sure if its been changed since then Originally Posted by Valquirie

I don't think so, the ghoul's body despawns shortly after death.

It's pretty hard to kill your ghoul actually, the only fight ive sen lately where the ghoul will die if you dont pay attention is Sindragosa.

You can't even corpse explode your dead ghoul.

well, actually you can use your ghoul for corpse explosion, try:
#showtooltip corpse explosion
/target pet
/cast [nochanneling:corpse explosion] corpse explosion
/targetlasttarget
edit: well uhm, too fast... you can CE your ghoul while its alive, havent tested it on his corpse, sry, but HF y'all with the CE macro
