    Dragon Age Origins

The one RPG that I've been holding back from playing. Now I finally got the game, and I am going to have to say, Bioware has yet again shown me they know how to make a great RPG. Been playing for god knows how many Hours, and from what I've been told, I am not even halfway through the Main Story of the Game. Oddly enough, it reminds me of Playing WoW in RPG format, but its a good thing.

What are your thoughts on the game?

It's a great game. Certainly one of the best out there at the moment. I love the ability to swap out party members and the combat system is pretty good. My only beef with Dragon age is the invisible walls.. "oh look a puddle.. Ill just walk right ov.*pow* wtf.. it's just a puddle.."

Well, I didn't really buy Dragon Age Origins with the intention of having massive free-roam like Oblivion did. I got it because I wanted to play a great Bioware game with a great story. Also, all new Bioware games are all very restricting on free-roaming.

That's of personal taste. Myself, I didn't really like the free roaming of Oblivion.

I love me some Dragon Age! That game pulled me away from WoW for over a month! I did the same thing and held out from playing it until it felt right. That it turns out my computer felt like it needed a new video card :P

I have played Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Awakening for more than 350 hours. I can assure everyone that it's just fantastic game. Ever origin story just adds more to the story and unravels some of the plot that you could never have imagined before. Also some of the specializations that you get during your first playthrough change the game completely for your second playthrough if you choose to pick that specialization (for example arcane warrior).

Also ever character class is worth trying and completing the game doing all the quests and getting the best gear takes something like 100 hours for the first playthrough.

Most games like Bioshock 2 lack content and you don't get much bang for the buck but when talking about Dragon Age, it would've been worth it to pay even 150 euros for it.

And btw, you got to try all the DLC.

Amazing game. Probably my favorite rpg.

I haven't played any of the new stuff since the main reason I liked the game was the characters, and though a few are in the new one, your relationships don't transfer over with your character. The replay value is crazy, though I've only played through twice.

Rented it, I couldn't really get into it, I prefer Mass Effect over Dragon Age.

This. The PC version is the one and only one you should buy.

Yea, same here. I think it's just a little.. Stiff. I haven't even completed it yet. But it's not too bad though, it's worth playing, but no way near being the best RPG ever made. Maybe top 50

    This.

250 Hours played on DAO, a lot of that is because of user generated modifications and content though. This game has a case of Oblivion syndrome.

It's good on it's own, amazing when modded.

Yeah crispy 10 hours of gameplay vs. atleast 100 hours for each playthrough and best gameplay ever.

You mean Dragon Age has better gameplay than Mass Effect? Well, I strongly disagree. But then it's a matter of taste. But saying Dragon Age has the best gameplay ever, that's bullshit

Loved it. Actually, loved it so much, that I didn't even care when my WOW account got hacked, I was so absorbed in the DA:O, that I didn't even bothered to report...
Nothing beats Mass Effect for me, though :]
