Cataclysm Friends & Family Alpha Update

MMO-Champion is changing. MMO-Champion would have stayed the same if it never agreed to a DNA and kept on posting the news that made it famous.

Without agreeing to a DNA, it would have been tough to sue them. They would have been sued many times before otherwise.

I still remember the expression on Mr. Morhaime's face when he announced Cataclysm at Blizzcon 2009. He said it was the first time anyone in the world heard about it, but both him and half of the attendance knew otherwise.

Another website will have to take its place now.

Boubouille would be the first one to post leaks. The reason he isnt now is cause he got an alpha key which is the exact reason why he got an alpha key. They knew if they let him in, he wouldn't spoil things. Its like giving a cookie to the kid who can reach the jar so he doesn't pass out cookies to the rest of us.

Has anyone considered that Boub got an alpha key so that he can get in, explore, and give us all the information at once instead of posting leaks? I mean I know we want every single piece of information thrown at us at once, from thousands of different sources, instead of having it come organized from Boub...right? I mean if Boub didn't post leaks we would never find out about them...right?

After seeing his work for as long as I have, the guy is probably already compiling information, waiting for the day the NDA is lifted. Give the guy a break. MMO didn't sell out.

I have been coming to mmo-champion for years now...and my outrage has finally lead me to my first post.

Boub has always been a leader in the wow community in finding out the latest and greatest additions to wow, even before blizzard wants it known.

It is obvious now that Boub has sold out this community for a F&F key. We wont see any new information until Blizzard tells him it is alright to post it. Boub might as well have this website re-direct to www.worldofwarcraft.com.

Boub must be proud that all he had to do to get the key is stab us in the back. Congrats Boub, hope it was worth it.

I start to see a pattern in these type of posts in "HOW DARE YOO BOUB TO STAB US IN THE BACK THE SAME WAY YOU DID WITH REPORTING WRATH ALPHA STUFF, HOW DARE YOOO! YOO HAVE CHANGED!" manner. Of course, they have way less clue that this was the same way before other expansions as well. Tsk, troll harder.

ok i might be new but i can tell when someone is saying something that has no sense at all. geting F&F key means he became a family (dont want to know how) of a friend. being either of that he is still great and usefull to many ppl interested in wow info. yes, for the first time (or it's the first time i see it) he actually stated some legal shit like NDA that is "forbidding" him to post some new info. maybe it's sounds like shit but mmo-champ became quite a website and he is not moron/fool/retard/idiot to post some forbidden info just to get bunch of nerds informed. anyway, cut the crap and be thankful for what he did for us, not moaning and bitching about what he did not do because most of you/us did not do shit compared to him!

He did his best to do so. Had he gotten the inside information back then that he got when he posted about Cataclysm before Blizzcon, he would have.

Ruining the surprise at Blizzcon 2009 was more of a headache for Blizzard than crap like this Deathwing model that MMO-Champion is erasing off their website right now.

I'd rather Boub be careful in his method of giving information during the Alpha than be outright and possibly taken down permanently by Blizzard. [who has the law on their side, I'm sure.]

If you don't like the way Boub shows information, then you're probably more than willing to find another site to go to. Hell, there was a site during the Wrath alpha dedicated to leaks. [which was taken down until the beta, oddly enough.] So if you don't like how Boub is going to do this, then don't give the site your presence. Page views = public opinion.

I wonder how long itll take this time for people to start leaking info. On wrath it took under a month for the first leaked info and vids to be all over and causing havoc to gm's trying to control the rumors
