I don't think there are many very high rated Combat rogues in arena since the FoK nerf.

Try some variations on 5/51/15.

You will need to gear for full ArP, DBW is a must and reaching 70%+ whilst maintaining high resilience is your goal. I would not try the spec if you don't have access to some strong PvE offsets.

Seen some good Sub rogues, and some people are playing around with it. But my impression is that the vast majority of PvP rogues are still Assassination.

It's pretty gear dependent. AP vs Arp, I don't know since I don't play sub, but I'd assume arp because you're susceptible to high-armor targets (unlike muti)

as a combat pvp spec for 2's with a Holy pally.

With my full arp pve gear (& this was before sub buff), i needed more dmg than a pvp Mut spec could offer.

Only would possibly recommend it for 2s with a defensive healer. KS gibs (which are easily countered) is the only use that the spec has. Not great, but it was an easy path to 1800.

But now sub is probly better in almost every way.

There's only one if you use an arp on procc trinket, which you won't be using.

The best way to go for sub is to balance out ap and arp. too much ap and we don't deal enough damage to plate, too much arp and we generally don't deal damage (we aren't warriors who can pull the 100% arp shit)

If you're really looking to play combat in 2's or 3's, you're best bet is to play 20/51/0. Grab a bunch of ArP Gems/Off-pieces.

Combat is pretty weak for PvP at the moment and requires the skill and gear to progress into the top tier of brackets.

Whats weapons do i use slow dagger fast dagger or 2 slow daggers and if im 2v2ing with a feral druid with the slow talent should i use double wound or wound and something els for sub?
