The Stonemother is one of the friendliest of the elemental lords, and may in fact -be- the Earthmother.

Friendly for an elemental lord still isn't that friendly. Plus, you have to remember that we kinda killed her daughter in Maraudon. She may see Deathwing as the greater of two evils, though. She may also be happier with us if we meet her after defeating the other elemental lords. She's not really happy with any of them because they all destroy her domain.

What I would love Blizzard to implement is that if you enter the zone carrying (or while in the zone equip) Thunderfury, Al'akir should sent you warning whispers and threats :P

BTW the access point (or at least one of them) will be in south Tanaris. This was indirectly confirmed by a crashing bug on the alpha client that was crashing cause a file named "skywall.wmp" didnt exsist.
