I can't exactly blame you, oh well, beta surely can't be that far off
...right?

It makes perfect sense. NDAs do nothing if they company issuing them doesn't actually enforce by sueing. No big company is going to sue a fansite WEB master. It would cost them more money in the long run. The reason you'd hear about it is because it would set a huge precedent since it's not like it happens everyday. NDAs aren't even enforceable in some countries. It's the same with a TOS. TOS' generally mean and do jack as it's not held up in court very often or at all.Originally Posted by Warchief

Personally I'm glad for this change. MMO-Champ had turned from a site I used to look up information pertaining to the current game into a giant Cataclysm spoiler after the Alpha release. I'm looking forward to discovering the new expansion content as I play. Otherwise every zone, model and change in Cataclysm will feel stale before I ever encounter it in-game.
As much as I appreciate WoW's hyper-active player community and the exchange of ideas between Blizzard, fan sites and players, sometimes I think there's just too much information put out there. I have a hard time seeing how it really helps Blizzard when virtually every new bit of information or "blue" post spawns a million+1 QQ threads. 99% of these threads are based on incomplete information or speculation about things that may or may never come to pass.
So thank you for making this change. I for one appreciate it.
I'm willing to bet that moderating alpha content here is purely an act of kindness, and respect towards blizzard.Originally Posted by zarbus
The opposite is very true too. You know when a game gets a less then successful launch? How many people say they will sue? How many do? How many are successful?Originally Posted by fizzypop
tbh we got our "sneek preview" so what more can we ask for. cant be too long before beta so think i can speak for the majority (or possibly minority ) that we can wait a little longer.
Thanks boub, your a legend.

yeh while it might seem like a bad thing it's actually not , leaves us all in suspence I don't mind this to be honest
This isn't badmouthing blizzard.. I think their employees need to reconsider who their friends are and disown some family members
I'll ask here, does anyone know of another place with the Satelitte Map Comparison's, it must still be on Imageshack since I can go to the images in my history. My post in the forums got deleted, obviously, but I just really like those maps.
That's what it's supposed to be, though. This is one of the premier WoW news sites, and is there any bigger WoW news than the Cat alpha?Originally Posted by Badma
Well, you always had the option of not reading spoilers. Now everyone else is being forced to find their spoilers elsewhere.I'm looking forward to discovering the new expansion content as I play. Otherwise every zone, model and change in Cataclysm will feel stale before I ever encounter it in-game.

You can steal my left shoe but you will never take my right!!!
thats it exactly! They want things to be a surprise rather then having half the content discovered and shown to the mass publics before content is even released to the mass public. It takes away half the fun. I can completely understand where they are coming from and im surprised they hadn't done it ealier. That said, i am happy to have seen one specific part which i look forward to learning more of when the content is releasedOriginally Posted by Poldara

Boub, unless you are under NDA and/or we are under NDA, you do NOT have to remove any content. Only the source who leaked the info must remove any content they have posted themselves.......unless you are the source...
not one but TWO Non-disclosure agreements! bwahaha
crap this was my info site on the expansion... :'(
