Got suspended for 72 hours for "Involvement in online trading activities" and got final warning. they disabled my recurring account billing and reseted my password.

What i am mostly curious is what on earth blizzard base this suspension on. they "concluded" the investigation on the 18/05.

I played maybe 1 hour in the last four months, Haven't raided, Haven't done quests, no trading with anyone, no AH, done one JC deal in this time for like 20G, the amount of gold i have is about 20K for the last few months, no one got access to my account and no one i know play the game.

i Emailed their account department just now, but from what I've been reading around they never listen.

There's a scam e-mail going around claiming that your account is under investigation for said online trading activities. I suspect you may have been scammed sir.

Tips on avoiding this: Check the email address.
Remember blizzard never asks for account information...they already have it.
Go to the offical website yourself and log into your account and see if its banned.

I got game time in my account, can't do anything about that,

i thought about a scam, but the address is legit. and i tried to log on onto my account before resetting the password, it was suspended. anyhow, i logged from the normal Battlenet address. this one is not fake.

i will post here once i get reply from Blizzard.

I would recommend you check the armory to make sure your toons still have their gear. From the sound of it, you may have been phised. This happened to me while my account was inactive. As noted before, make sure that you type in the blizzard web site your self when dealing with your account. One thing I have noticed about the fake websites, they look exactly like the blizzard site, however, if you try to change the language by selecting one of the ones at the bottom, the language won't change on a hackers site.

blizz never changes your password, they just freeze the account and when you try and login the account would say it is restricted for whatever reason (billing, dispute, ban hammer).

Guys, you don't know how to read.

as i have said, i logged from https://eu.battle.net/login itself. the site specifically state that i am suspended. same message from the game client too. all this before i done anything with the mail itself. the mail didn't ask for the password, it stated that i was banned and the password was retested. i also got a second mail with the reason for suspension before i done anything.

i have reseted the password via the address i got in my bookmarks, not the mail (even though it is the same). fact remains, this one is a legit Blizz mail. i'm playing since day one, i know how to verify if a mail is legit or not. the address will, obviously, be different.

and my armory is fine. all is intact.
