I hope the worgens will get a sound when doing the /roar emote. Taurens have one for /moo

I am anxious how the animations will look especially for the /insult emote. The male version is pretty funny. Especially the ending of the animation looks hilarious, where he holds his hand like an italian when arguing about something.

I dont know if any one else has noticed this, too lazy to read every single post, but all it is at the moment is a remodeled draenei female. The animations are similar, however some are new, but this is quite far from being a FINISHED model. But nonetheless it looks close enough to what the Worgen females should be.

If this has already been said, woops.

I'm just speaking as someone who has known (and played) the Warcraft universe since WC2.
It saddens me that Blizzard is spoiling the great story they've built over more than a decade (it's their lore, but whatever, just imagine how people would feel if Tolkien's sons started to rewrite his stories...).

I'll continue to play this game because it's is awesome nonetheless, but I'll never create a worgen and will probably spend the first few days of Cataclysm in Moonglade one-hitting all those who dare create a druid.

I like the design. It isn't "sexy" for the furry porn lovers out there, maybe that'll calm down the massive race re-roll or paid change when it's allowed.

Exactly. This is the key selling point for me. They don't look fox-like. More like dogs, really, but still fairly close to wolves. and anything that lowers the furry cybor, is only a good thing.

Unfortunetly, you're right about it being a business, but it doesn't invalidate my point. Am I forced to accept and approve all the actions taken by Blizzard because it'll grant them more money? No.

Also, I believe it could have been done differently (if they had put more creative effort on it) and still generate the same profit. Blizzard is getting lazy at developing lore.
A good example of this is how the Lich King was killed: they've done it the "easy way" (the script was poorly writen), but still some people liked it.

So, should I just say "hey, Blizz is destroying their wonderful lore, but I don't have the right to express my disappointment because it's THEIR lore".

Well, happy that I play Horde and will never be bothered by furrys and such. Gladly, the cyber-sex "roleplay" of Blood Elves is declining on my realm, either.
But as far as it gets, I will be making a male alt to check out the starting region. Something melee, maybe the next attempt to play a warrior. *g*

And yes, this "worg in progress" looks somehow like a fox, and still is too "nice". I hope, that adding more hair / fur will give them back the missing ferocity.

The reference to Tolkien is terribly out of pocket. Blizzard isn't rewriting or spoiling their lore. They are expanding and developing it. The same people who wrote the lore in the first place are the ones who are writing it today. The fact YOU have some personal attachment to a chapter in the story has absolutely no bearing on the story itself.

Worgen have existed in the game since release. The Darkfallen are a logical extension of the Scourge given they have zombies, frankenstein monsters, ghouls, skeletons, witches, etc etc.

I don't think you have the right to interpret other people's motivations. There is no logical conclusion you can draw attaching the Darkfallen and worgen to any sort of financial gain.
