thoughts on feral charge move

why did they move feral charge back into the reach of resto when even the development staff called it too powerful? this is a mistake. resto will be able to get both the silence and charge if they want. if you have already forgotten why they should not have feral charge, shame. remember the cyclone,cyclone,cyclone,feralcharge,bash,roots,switch routine? yeah. fix this crap. they shouldn't even be considering it after the mistakes with hybrid specs that have been made and the seasons of imbalance. they are setting themselves up for too much balancing work that won't get done until 2 seasons into cataclysm.

Umm... Any class can get to its 25 point talent tier & still maintain 51 points into a primary tree.

All Shamans can dual wield now if they want, all Warlocks can get Siphon Life if they want, all Priests can get Vampiric Embrace if they want, all DKs can have Killing Machine / Unholy Blight, all Hunters can have Readiness / Lock N Load, all Mages can have PoM / Blast Wave, RET PALADINS CAN GET RECKONING WTF?!?!

Everything is going to be different, however, even if they didn't move the talent & it remained where it is on live. Resto Druids could still get it.

Now they can get an extremely OP looking Silence AND Feral Charge, if the talent stayed deeper in the tree, they had to choose. But yes, it's to early to say anything about Cataclysm balance, yet it's fun to discuss, and yet it does LOOK borderline OP.

Blizzard has stated that even though they've released these talent trees to use, their contents and position of talents in the trees are not final. If Blizz deems it OP via beta testing, they'll have the opportunity in beta to fix it before it goes live.

To compare us to other talent trees that have not been released is rather premature, as well. I do remember a long, long time ago a blue post stating that the 21-point talents were a bit juicy because you couldn't go 51 points into your main spec and have the 21-point talent, too (it was some discussion concerning the power of 51-point and 21-point talents making a player sacrifice to get one or the other, not both). At this stage of the game, we'll have to leave this to Blizz and beta testing to sort things out since the structure of the trees hasn't changed too significantly from their recent versions.
