I love metroid games but i'm just not sure about this. It looks cool and apparently has a great story line, but I worry that its too much of a change in the gameplay.What are your thoughts?

oh you people with change is bad..... i for one think its gonna be epic. i loved the old SNES games and loved when metroid came out on the Gamecube and became an FPS that to me was my fav FPS game all 3 actually.
and now this is coming out and changes it, i think it will be very good but i havent checked into this game since i seen the first trailer mainly because well... i hate Wii... i know graphics over gameplay but seriously i draw the line when i can play high quality games on my 360.

I dunno... I don't really like the idea of integrating characters, story, voice acting, backgrounds, cutscenes and relationships amongst other subjects into a metroid game. Metroid is: Samus Aran goes to planet. Samus Aran kills everything on planet. Samus Aran escapes planet. Mission complete.
