Buying a new computer, need info on "Overclocking"

Obviously, but what does the seller care? They flog a couple of dual-channel pairs instead of a single triple channel kit. They don't promise a certain level of performance.

*sigh* and thats whats wrong with most of these performance brand pc makers these days. Better than an oem, but still not great.
