Is it necessary to post on the forums at all? No.

Is it necessary to block the forums to people who value their privacy? For what? Trolls who can just be ignored, I'd much rather live with a forum full of spammers and trolls than having to expose my real name. Also most arguments here revolve around saying that the only risk was someone coming to your house and killing you.

I didn't say it was the best option was it? The point is there are other fucking options, just because you choose to ignore those options doesn't mean they don't exist.

And I also said that for some issues the tech forum is the ONLY option to get help. E-mailing won't help because they can't help you with anything other than generic stuff and the same goes for the phone support.

Also, not everyone has same problems, people wont get ANYTHING from reading hundred times over "delete wtf, wdb, interface folders." People can have specific technical issues regarding new drivers for specific GPU/windows/whatever and the answer doesnt have to be there by default.

And no, there may not be other options, some geek fan forums arent solution either, not even them have all the answers. What if I cant log in? The only other option is to just chill and let my subscription expire with weeks/months already paid for and until the problem fixes itself?

Yet you can get the same support on the phone if you wait long enough.

I'm not saying the phone or email is better, but it's an option that's out there. So you don't have to use the forums regardless of whatever scenario that could occur.

My argument isn't for the system though, my argument is just to everyone claiming that the forums are necessary for their use, when they're not at all. They may be a better option over some, but they are still unnecessary.

Well for my part I could really careless that some1 knows my real name.
