    Raid Idead

    Hello mmo champ! this is my first raid idea for a future cataclysm raid. Ive got my inspiration from Atlantis: The Lost Empire by Walt Disney(lol), Diablo II, Plato that was a Classical Greek philosopher and a little bit from the best raid ever: Ulduar. Im not good in wow lore so dont hate me...

    Atlantis (AT)

    Location: Vashj'ir
    Entrance: Orgrimmar docks / Stormwind harbor (will explain this later)
    End boss: King Kro'naj
    Type: Raid (10/25) (Normal/Heroic)
    Level requirement: 85
    Gearscore requirement: ....

    This raid is featuring 8 bosses available for 10/25 - normal/heroic
    Have you defeated the last boss of the 8 bosses in heroic mode, a heroic-only boss will be unlocked Algalon&Lady Sinestra style.

    Defeat the following boss on 10/25 player mode:
    - Krakken (Giant Octopus sinking your ship)

    - Garg (Huge Stone Giant blocking your way)

    Defeat the following bosses on 10/25 player mode:
    - Sargolm (Model should be smiliar to the Watchkeepers in Ulduar but alot bigger)
    - Delothes (-//-)
    - Melgarn (-//-)

    Defeat the following bosses on 10/25 player mode:
    - High Priest Mephisto (Smiliar to Velens model bigger size)
    - General Katsir (Naga Tidelord)

    PART FIVE : [Are we there yet? (10/25 player)]
    Defeat the following boss on 10/25 player mode:
    - King Kro'naj (Naga Anomaly)

    PART SIX (OPTIONAL) : [Algalon was merely a setback (10/25 player)]
    Defeat Plato the Messenger on 10/25 player mode:

    Part One:
    To enter this raid for the horde is to take boat towards Vashj'ir from Orgrimmar docks.
    To enter this raid for the alliance take boat towards Vashj'ir from Stormwind Harbor.
    The Boat will always be there at the docks/harbor.
    You take the boat by walking onto it, then talk to the captain. After that the boat leaves the docks/harbor.

    The Boat take you to the sea above Vashj'ir an >instanced Vashj'ir<
    Krakken attacks the boat doing serious damage to the ship (this cannot be prevented) the raid is going downstairs to the lowest deck and take a small goblin/gnome submarine.

    The battle continues against the Krakken under sea level. This is when the fight starts...
    The raid will be manning the turrets on the ship (8 turrets in 10 man mode / 20 turrets in 25 man mode) the rest of the raid will man the Missile launchers. These weapons will be used to defeat the Krakken. When Krakken is defeated the goblins/gnomes drives the submarine into a cave in the sea floor, the cave leads to a giant cave underwater were you can now exit the submarine and walk is if you were on the mainland. Krakken provides loot ofc from a chest when you exit the submarine.

    Part Two:
    Theres no way out of the cave exept the giant rock that is blocking the way out.
    This rock is a boss, only requires one tank. He does insane damage on the tank also. One of his abilities are Cave In and Earthquake. Cave in he does at aprox 20% health large boulders from the roof is falling down on the raid watch out. Earthquake works like the ability XT in ulduar have "Tympanic Tantrum". Thats all exept hes a DPS race 3 minutes enrage timer.

    Part Three: After Garg is defeated the tunnel will be revealed leading to the city.
    Outside the tunnel you find your self on a plat form, and a small bridge leading to the "island"
    This is why [What is this? I don't even... (10/25 player)] well i would have said that if i saw a city under ground :P. Anyway the raid walk over the bridge its a very long one.

    Well there they meet Brann Bronzebeard "omg wtf is he doing here!!!" Talk to Brann and he will start the following event. He basicly explains that, if the adventurers (the raid) are going to find a way out they have to defeat King Kro'naj a Naga anomaly, Brann also tells the adventurers that when they defeated Garg the pressure from the Sea began pushing up water through the tunnels which means...you have limited time to defeat the bosses or the city will (drown?) Its 1 hour / Part then that part will be drowned. The first Hour starts to count after Brann is told you averything. He tells you what to do to reach King Kro'naj. You have to defeat the three watchers that are channeling the shield which is protecting the inner city from everything EX: adventurers, noobs and dragons, the three watchers are Sargolm, Delothes and Melgarn. You can choose anyone of them you wish to start with. Tactics are the same for all three, 3 tanks for the cleaving, they will also spawn adds frequently deal with them fast because killing one add lowers the watchers mana by 5%, when the watcher reaches 0% they will be stunned for 20 seconds and increasing damage taken by 200%.

    Part Four:
    After the last watcher is dead even if it is 30 mins or 10 mins left of the pressure timer the timer will be reduced to 5 mins. the raid have 5 mins to reach the inner city or they will die.
    The only way to get there is by doing a gauntlet along 200 yards long stair with loads of waves and trash after that is done you get 1 hour added to the pressure timer. When you are at the inner city you they will meet Brann again. He tell them that if they are to defeat High Priest Mephisto they will need help. Help from the citizens of atlantis. The next task is to talk to citizen and ask them to join you. When you got enough you go for the High Priest, which is in the church and channeling some spell interrupt him and you trigger the encounter

    High Priest Mephisto's abilities are Waterbeam for this you will need a tank with frost resist gear or he will probably one shot the tank. Another spell is he MC's the person with highest healing done in the raid giving the player 100% more health and increases healing done by 1000% Mephisto will make the MC'ed person heal him. the MC'ed person cannot be interrupted stunne or slowed, so you need to kill your own healer fast. He MC's every 60 seconds which make this a soft enrage time because less healers is less heals on the tank.

    General Katsir will be in the Atlantis arena. His abilities are Mortal Strike on the MT last for 2 minutes does it every 60 seconds which mean 3 tanks is needed. every 2.5 minute he does Bladestorm does insane damage to single target but if the raid stack the damage will be really low. Every 20 second he gains a stack of "Enrage does 5% more damage". 10 minute hard-enrage timer. After Volgem is defeated the raid can look up to the roof above the city and you will see the roof is caving in above the raid because of the pressure the ground is shaking the timer is back on 5 minutes. The cave in does 5000 damage each second to every member of the raid. They have to move to the King fast.

    Part Five:
    The raid have to the top of the city and the area were the King has been waiting for you they have 5 minutes to do so. Brann will appear again and he have found some mounts that the raid can use to reach the top. There are different mount type. The mounts are not use to attack anything with only transportation. The first mount is a helicopter (like the one you do in enginering ). Second mount is another heli with 3 seats. And finally Branns personal airplane with seats to 8 persons in 10 man and 20 persons (woah) in 25 man. Anyway you got 5 minutes to fly to the top its a pretty long distance you cant do it on 3 minutes like that. While your flying the roof is still caving in so you have to watch out do not crash with a boulder from the roof. 1 boulders does 25% damage of the total health of the mount. If you die here you cant come back until the raid has wiped/defeated the King.

    King Kro'naj abilities: Does sunder armor effect on the main target each 10 second stacking up to 5 times. 3 tanks needed. The rood is STILL caving in and does still 5000k /second. Every minute he does a debuff on random raid member increasing damage taken by 100% and 50% by allies nearby the one with 100%. This can stack if the same person gets debuff again. He will summon adds that does aoe (like the adds on Toravon) 1 add in 10 man 3 adds in 25. at 50% he will summon one add in 10 two adds in 25 they need to be tanked by tanks so even more damage here adds + sunder. (The adds are like the one on KT your going to waste a lifetime if u focus on them.). Enrage at 6 mins.

    Hardmodes:
    Krakken - [Speedy Gonzales (10/25 player)] Defeat the Krakken event within 7 minutes.

    Garg - [Not even a scratch II (10/25 player)] Defeat Garg without any raid member during the encounter get hit by "Cave In".

    Sargolm
    Delothes
    Melgarn - [Who cares about those? (10/25 player)] Defeat all of the watchers without killing their minions.

    High Priest Mephisto - [Not going to let anyone else die (10/25 player)] Defeat High Priest Mephisto without letting more than three raid members getting Mind Controlled.

    General Katsir - [Failstorm is fail (10/25 player)] Defeat General Katsir without anyone raidmembers standing closer than 15 yards to each other during Bladestorm.

    King Kro'naj - [No more marks from you (10/25 player)] Defeat King Kro'naj without letting him cast more than two marks of death.
    [They told me you were the king...oh wait (10/25 player)] Defeat King Kro'naj withing 3 minutes.

    HARD MODE ONLY : Plato, the Messenger

    1 minute after King has been defeated the floor in the middle of the platform will shatter leaving a Black Hole left. If the raid wants to face Plato they jump down into the hole if else they talk to Brann and he will send you in his submarine up to the surface.
    Upon entering the Black Hole you get teleported beneath the city of Atlantis where Plato is preparing the second reply code code for the titans. You will have 30 minutes each week to try Plato. If the timer reaches 30 mins the floods from the surface will drown the whole city wiping the raid. Regardless if its mid fight.

    Abilites Black Hole if a raid member enters a black hole it grows in size and it sends away the raid member to a random place in Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Northrend or Outland the player will spawn high above the land but will increase in speed more and more when falling to the ground which will make the player burn to death before landing.

    Sunstorm does 20.000 damage each second for 10 seconds to all raid members. This spell is occured every 30 seconds.

    Solarbeam does 500.000 damage to the main target can be spell reflected or interrupted, thought its 1.5 sec cast. This spell is occured every 60 seconds.

    Everytime you hit Plato he sends back 30% of the total damage.

    Berserk timer: 5 minutes.

    The Watchers buffs:
    If You have Sargolm up the raid will deal 50% more damage
    If you have Delothes up the raid will take and do 50% mor healing
    If you have Melgarn up the raid take 50% less damage

    You can have how many watchers up you want.

    [Eez mode (10/25 player)] Defeat Plato without anyone dying.
    [We've got to do this on our own then... (10/25 player)] Defeat Plato with less than 21 people in 25 man mode / Defeat Plato with less than 9 people in 10 man mode.
    [Realm First! Defender of Azeroth] Be the first on the realm to defeat Plato in 25 man mode rewarding the title <name> the Defender of Azeroth.

    I know im not lore junkie but anyways...

    i love the idea .. i would love to see what atantis looks like in wow dev's eyes but .. i dont think they can recycle the algalon thing already

    The Watchers buffs:
    If You have Sargolm up the raid will deal 50% more damage
    If you have Delothes up the raid will take and do 50% mor healing
    If you have Melgarn up the raid take 50% less damage

    To much buff
    i suggest put the buff on 5% down from 50%

    I actually really like the idea. Though the damage and such would have to maybe be changed depending on the healthpools and general dps in Cataclysm. But the raid sounds interesting
