I Need a New Headset

So my mic/headset is pretty shitty now and I'm in need for a new one. I was looking for any mic that someone has had great success with. I currently have a plantronic and well...it only lasted for a year. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I use a conference microphone and a decent pair of boombox speakers - if you download realtek HD audio, you can make sure your mic doesnt hear your speakers etc, ive hard both of mine for 3 years, still working brilliant cos me £30 ($45) (40 euros).

The bass on the speakers are really good aswell, when on full volume, my entire culdisac can hear what im playing, brilliant performance for money.
