Or you could be like every sensible person and never run a browser to a new site with scripting and file downloads turned on (aka the Firefox+NoScript model)!

Actually the "Panderans" comic is listed on book databases. Check the wowwiki page: wowwiki.com/Panderans
It seems legit to be honest. I really can't think on any excuse to not bring the Pandaren on real Warcraft lore. Just remember, back at the early ages of Warcraft both Gnomes and Tuskarr were a joke also.

Those were actually two separate thoughts. xP I was saying it was safe because I'd already viewed it.

same as BC they were supposed to be there instead of Draenei right?
i think we should hold off speculation for quite a bit considering that Cataclysm isn't even out yet and it is somewhat silly to think about the next races after worgen and goblin.

If one side of the other got Pandarans there would be forum meltdowns. If you thought things like horde having one more race/class combo or alliance loosing Andorhal were bad then this would leave it for dead.

Fanboys of both sides are utterly convinced that they are the only logical fit for Pandarans.

The creator of the Pandarans - Horde fan he is - has said that if they go in game they are going Horde. Which means we are unlikely to see them in game as a playable race.

Samwise stated on a recent interview that if they're ever playable in WoW, they'll be Horde.

    Edit: Took so long

I wish they could have given the Chinese motifs to a cooler race than friggin' fluffy-wuffy panda people.

Why couldn't they have given it to something like badass tiger people or maybe a new offshoot of Dragonkin that resemble Chinese dragons?

Can you get me your source on that?

Both Alliance and Horde have shown positive connections with Pandaren. I'd like to see them be the first race that gets to choose Alliance or Horde.

    It would be complete Pandamania

    taken from wow wiki
They were allies of the night elves until they saw their obsession with magic getting out of control. The clans severed ties and left Kalimdor behind eventually establishing a new home on an island they named Pandaria.
All pandaren are connoisseurs of ale and stronger drink, leading to a unique kinship with Ironforge dwarves.
Though Chen assisted Rexxar, they do not seem to be specifically affiliated with either the Horde or the Alliance.
Many of Azeroth's denizens do not owe fealty to the Alliance or Horde. Some races, such as pandaren, are independent.

How many time I got to tell you all.

They were suppose to be the Horde race in this X-pac, but was replaced by the Goblin for issues.

Two things, that is obviously a Wildstorm logo up in the left hand corner, and its very much a drawn figure, thus it will most likely be a comic, or its a cover to a future wow comic. Mystery solved.

Well, the thread was about the new Wildstorm comic about Pandarens, not about their inclusion as a playable race in WoW.
