Are there angels in wow lore?

As the title says are there angels in wow lore ?

today i was doing the weekly in OS and i found these ceiling paintings underneath Wyrmrest temple
Now as far as i know i have never heard of angels in WoW history or WoW mythology (Mythology in a game brain breaker (I know)) does anyone of you know anything about this/them ?

I can't really answer your question, but I do remember the first time seeing those paintings. I was in a 25m to do the weekly OS and I said "hey, there's half naked ladies under Wyrmrest" followed by a 25 man gathered under there on their flying mounts. Made me laugh.

Seeing as so many things were twisted to the Lich King, there could be a pure/holy version of the Val'Kyr still left somewhere.

I remember reading up on this, when someone shared an idea about an angel-class. And no, there are not any lore relating specific angels, however there are angelic beings through-out the world - Like the spirit healer or the Naaru

Search around the wowiki-page and click some links - It's actually very interesting, but then again.. so is most WoW mythology me thinks :P

hmm i know spells but when i think of spells i always think of then as inspired by human ideas (think of this as completely ingame)

i am talking mostly about the actual beings not spells or part of spells as spells are always in some way corputed by human influence(still completly talking about ingame) Ohw and the term human is the general term of all creatures that cast spells

hmm so far is apears that the only angels are in the religion in wow
i was secretly hoping the where a "hidden race" of some sort

then my next question why do they apear underneath a building made my the titans? (Wyrmrest is made by the titans right?)

I am not sure, it's possible. The closest we see in game would be the Spirit Healers.

It is rare that there's a direct reference to an Angel, in-game. But there are many other references and, if i remember correctly, the Abbey of Northshire believes or believed in angels..

I'm looking at http://www.wowwiki.com/Angel, and it seems like there are angel references, and races that act similar to angels, but I'm not sure if they're any in-game.

I mean, yeah, Northshire Clerics believed in them, but they don't appear as an entity in-game or in any WC game.

So, I guess the answer is.. maybe?
