His manner towards people never changes, he will wait until they speak before he does and if their first words are those of dishonor or malice he will strike them down, if however they speak words of wisdom or trust he will befriend them.

    Story
Azrok was born into a small tribe living in the southern barrens. At the age of 6 he was already training with a large stick and by 10 he could beat any of the young in the village. He practiced fighting day and night and never lost in mock battles. During a mock battle against one of the other young Tauren in the village he stood on a sharp rock, Puncturing his hoof. He continued to fight and eventually win against his opponent. After the fight the village elder took him aside and offered him the name of Azrok Iron-Hoof because he continued to fight even after an injury that would cripple most Tauren. His first real battle was fought on the day of his 18th birthday. During the celebration a large number of Quill-Boar attacked the village and slew many of his people. During the short but blood battle Azrok killed a Quill-Boar champion with a discarded weapon. As the battle raged Azrok saw his father and mother slain by the leader of the Quill-Boar Tribes, Razormane. Azrok fought to reach his fallen parents but was held back by the village elder who carried him away to the safety of the nearby caves.

As night fell on the barrens Azrok crept silently from the caves to seek his revenge upon the Quill-Boar. He tracked them for many hours until he came upon their camp deep in a forgotten oasis. Killing the guards posted to keep watch Azrok fell upon the sleeping Quill-Boar with a rage and fury unbeknown to any mortal. He slew all in his path until only Razormane was left. The two warriors battled for what seemed an eternity, trading blows against one another until eventually Razormane landed a blow against Azrok's chest knocking him to the ground. As all seemed lost a spear pierced Razormanes head slaying him instantly. Overcome with shock that he was still alive and that his enemy had been slain by another Azrok stood to see who had thrown the spear. Azrok took in all the Taurens details until he came to the realization that it was an ancient Tauren with silver hair carrying a large totem weapon. A name came to him from his memory of a great warrior who had fought against the centaur tribes long ago. Trying to remember the story he called out a name, Muare Storm-Skin.

The Tauren came closer and spoke to Azrok in a voice that whispered like the wind. You are the one he told me off Azrok the future of our people will rest in you're hands one day. I will train you to be ready for that day young one. Azrok stood shocked and dazed, he questioned the legend carefully and listened to his every word. Leading Muare to his tribes cave he found the Elder waiting for him. Introducing the two Ascayda went to his bed for some much needed rest. In the morning he awoke to find the Elder speaking again with Muare. The morning was spent reliving what he had done in the night. Muare asked Azrok if he wished to train with him in the mountains overlooking the plains of Mulgore. Azrok agreed and so began his journey with Muare to the mountains. During the journey Ascayda and Muare encountered many enemies, Centaur, Bears, Mountain lions and Quill-boar. Each battle was more bloody then the last until they reached the mountain path leading into the hills. Muare stood waiting for Azrok to catch up and told him that they had to travel different paths from here on. Azrok did not understand but Muare would not relent and sent Azrok ahead. As he climbed higher and higher he began to understand. Muare had already taught Azrok everything he knew of battle the rest was up to him.

Reaching the plateau overlooking Mulgore Azrok came face to face with the biggest Earth Elemental he had ever seen. It dwarfed even him and turned to face him. As he drew his weapon it attacked knocking away his weapon. Getting quickly to his feet he stood his ground, when suddenly the elemental spoke. You are Azrok yes it asked in a voice trimmed with suspicion. Yes he answered, Muare sent me here to train.
The answer seemed to have assured the elemental and it spoke again in a calm voice. The training you spoke of has been completed you have grown strong and wise under the guidance of Muare he would be proud to see you. Azrok was confused and asked what it meant. The elemental responded with a sad voice. Maure has been dead for some time now Azrok his spirit was brought back into the world to guide you to me. His grave lies behind this ridge his armor and weapon is there. Azrok stood still thinking about what he had just heard. After a few moments he spoke again. You are Muare's Elemental and you guard his grave, You used the last of your power to bring his spirit back so that he could find and bring me here. The elemental nodded and spoke again. Correct Azrok, take the armor and weapon and use it on my totem then leave this place and find your path in life warrior. With that the elemental vanished.

Azrok did as he was asked and left the hills far behind. He returned to his tribe and protected them from many attacks. Until one day the call came that all Tauren would join the Horde and fight under war-chief Thrall. Azrok journeyed to Orgrimmar and joined the Horde promising to bring Strength and Honor to the Horde. Following the words of his mentor Azrok never broke his honor or pride and spent many years fighting against the enemies of the horde. Even to this day he has his Honor and Pride and continues to fight wherever enemies of the horde arise.
