Hey there,
I was wondering... Over the last few months the water effects seemed to have changed somewhat. What is currently seen in the beta does not look as nice as what we were shown at blizzcon'09. Does anyone know whether the water effects are still a work in progress or did they downgrade them for good?

They seem to progressively get better as the builds go on. Also, remember that Blizzard had everything on ULTRA SUPER AMAZINGLY max settings when they showed it on their 30 foot monitor.

They still look just as amazing to me. Have you been watching videos with settings not maxed? You must have DX11 to get all the goodness.

Will Cataclysm support DX11 cards? I thought the water they were adding was DX10...
