I prefer the Lotr maps or Castle Wars but all I see is "DOTA NOOBS ONLY!" when infact they want 'noobs' just to have an easy enemy.

I prefer Broken Alliances and the Azeroth Leagcy Reborn... dark ages just crashes every time so i have given up on it :/

I was wondering why people treated it like a whole different game.

it has become a whole different game, there are are official tournaments (probably best balanced fan map ever) and a game (HoN) that just copies the map, but uses new heroes, own servers and adds a few other things.

the gameplay is almost completly different from the normal wc3 maps too.

In the end I prefer sc2
Nothing gets me more pumped up before a *presumed* hard sc2 match... and so far I've only encountered Terran players that like to turtle (lock themselves in their base while I get everything on the map and kill them without a problem :/ )

Well lately i have not felt for playing sc2. i usually like medieval strategy games better anyway, but thats not saying i don't like sc2 its an awesome game

Ditto.
Medieval fits more into RTS, but the only reason I like sc2 is because it feels soooooo good to win a hard match
And personally I think sc2 is the only RTS that gives me a chance to build up an army fast enough.

yeah and i totally hope that warcraft 4 one day will come out

well, it's a list of the animes i have watched and liked the most^^
i've not seen Shikabane Hime, and from what i read about it, it would probably not be one of my favorites (doesn't mean it's bad though, like many other animes i've watched).

Its just i would bet the lore would be better if they did just stick with the RTS and not made it into a MMORPG

not really...

if there wasn't WoW I'd just have kept playing porn games and PS2/PSP... WoW is the only PC game I've really PLAYED... I played starcraft and WC3 but just that story mode with a funny name... and by the end of it, I was always fed up...

RTS isn't my style...
actually fighting and platform action games are much more my style... I have no idea how WoW managed to make me this addicted... they probably put cannabis in the data files...
