Looking for the Prot charge/intercept/intervene macro.

I recently faction changed my Warrior and lost all of his macros. Got them all except his Prot charge/intercept/intervene macro.

The one I found online is pretty useless:

    #showtooltips
    /castsequence [harm] reset=15 Charge, Intercept, Charge; [help] Intervene;

It casts Charge and Intercept at same time if I double tap it. Anyone have the macro that lets me cast only one at a time even if I double tap?

    #showtooltip
    /cast [mod:shift]Intercept;[mod:ctrl]Intervene;Charge

Thats what i use. Plain and simple.

I already use ctrl and shift for other abilities.

Then i suggest you only press the button once.

Yea, all I can suggest is get used to not double tapping. I use the macro you posted and I do just fine.

Assuming PVE, why would you ever want to prioritize Intervene?

He's not, it's actually casting Intervene with ctrl, and if no modifiers are held down, it'll charge.

I don't have my macro right now, but essentially what it does is a priority, Intervene a friendly mouseover>Intervene a friendly target>Charge an enemy target>Alt-Intercept an enemy target>Charge an enemy mouseover>Alt-Intercept and enemy mouseover. It works for me, and I suggest if you don't want to use modifiers, then you should bind Charge enemy/Intervene friendly on 1 key and Intercept on another key.

I experimented a lot with different charge macros and I think the one you posted is your best bet Sengura. It's the best of the lot I tried out. One question though, why do you have Charge twice in the macro? I only have it in there once and don't get the second entry.

I think it's due to server lag - I use that macro and if I hit it JUST before charge comes off CD it fires up the macro without actually charging, meaning it'll only try to use Intercept for the next 15sec.

Trust me, I scoured the net for 2 days looking for such a macro and I came up with the conclusion that there is none. You will have use 2 buttons: one with intercept and one with charge+intervene, or go for a modifier key.

    I use

    #showtooltip
    /cast [nomodifier] charge
    /cast [modifier: alt] intercept
    /cast [modifier: ctrl] intervene

Yes, using 3 keys instead of 2 is a good way to make things easier.

The macro in the OP's post works perfectly fine. Just don't double tap, simple as that.

It's very hard to not spam keys, especially in pvp. Do you even play a prot warrior ?

I do but I never spam my charge key. Tbh, I really don't think the OP is going to find many other viable macros. You can only do it so many ways and if the double tapping is a problem then he should macro them to separate keys, like Ctrl, Alt, etc. I used to have that when I was starting out my warrior tanking and works just as well.

I was looking for one for my PvP Arms that uses Charge and auto switches to Zerker stance and casts Intercept when Charge is on cooldown.

That would be awesome to have.
