    22" (1680) or 24" (1920)

Hey guys, just finished upgrading my comp enough to handle larger resolutions with max settings. I want to buy a new monitor next week, but can't decide between 22" or 24" and if my comp can handle it well enough.

I really want to go 24" (Asus VE246H) but I'm tempted to stay with 22" so I don't push my comp too far..

    Comp specs are:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965BE (OC to 3.8)
GPU: Gigabyte ATI 5850 (OC 765Mhz)
    RAM: 4GB 1333Mhz
    OS: Win7 64.

Main games I play are BC2, WoW, CSS and the new Fallout: New Vegas.
    Thanks

Monitor resolution in pixels does not depend on size in inches, and your card is more than fine for either size.

I would not buy 1680x1050 monitor for the simple reason that it's not FullHD. One day you want to watch 1080p movies on the monitor, and then you'll be pissed off you picked the wrong one.

    Trolling should be.

What type of fps you reckon I'll get in WoW? (I know it's more cpu hog than anything else) @ 24"?

True Vess...and it's fkn bs hard to find a true 1680...All i can find are 21.5" with 1920x1080...or 23" with 1920x1080...and the one's i did find cost a fortune or are in LED...o.0
