Expertise in PVP?

I seen some people stacking expertise on their pvp gear, but i've heard it doesnt affect pvp? I tried searching and couldn't find anything.

NPCs can dodge attacks from front and behind, but can only parry frontal attacks.
Players can only dodge and parry attacks from the front.

As you can attack players from behind in PvP, Expertise is, when you play well, close to worthless. [Might be worth it against Rogues, but that's about it.]
