    Death Knight Power Auras

    After being inspired by Bones Power Auras for elemental shaman (check here for more info) I've become spoiled in my UI set ups and will probably have to go around all my characters setting similar auras up. I decided to do my Death Knight first, for as a tank I need to watch her cooldowns more closely, and she has quite a few to keep track of.

    As I m Blood/Frost I have not created one for unholy :<

    VERSION 1.1
    - Army of the dead, Empower rune weapon, death pact, rune tap and blood tap added
    - position of spec major cooldown changed to be more central

    Well, Howling Blast doesn't really have a CD, so might wanna put Pillar of Frost there instead :P.

    It's there with Icebound and Anti magic shell ^^ HB can sometimes go on CD, which is why i primarily stuck it with the lower CD moves :3

    The cd of HB is the CD of runes :P. It doesn't have an actual cd itself anymore :P.

    I think there might be a stroke of genius here. I've been laying some ground work to redo my UI and I think I just might give this a go. But I have a question about setting it up, the code you've written, where do I copy it? I've been using PoWa for quite sometimes now, so I assume I don't actually need to download the original you linked, BePa, but just copy the code from this thread to a file somewhere in my WTF folder?

    If you have power auras all you gotta do is open the config and find the "Import" buttons and copy the code into that.

    Unholy Frenzy, Blood Tap, Rune Tap and possibly Dark Transformation would be nice, along with Gargoyle and possibly Raise Dead.

    Great work otherwise! I've always been bad with Power Auras.

    On frost Aura:
    Blood Tap instead of Howling Blast.

    lol yeah I forgot all about HB having it's CD removed >.< When im done in the raid I shall put rune and blood tap in. Not sure about Unholy frenzy and Dark transformation as I am not unholy. Does it put a buff on the DK, or just the pet? I might be able to make a minor CD for it, but I am not sure i can record its duration.

    I'll also try and make the buffs display their duration as a timer. Just need to figure that out from the examples I have

    Thanks for these, i never realised how good powa auras was in terms of setting stuff like this up, i shall definatly be modding it a lot more now i know what it is capable of, these provided a very nice basis for what i needed on my dk, tweaked them a bit to fit me, but many thanks i shall be using this as a core for many future setups

    Would it be possible to track death strike aswell? say the internal cooldown of the heal, how much heal you will do is you use it right now. (by calculating with dmg taken the last 5 sec, and make a tracker for the shield. how much it absorbs total. how much thats left and a timer on it aswell?

    Power auras can only track the duration of buffs/debuffs, skills, health, mana, aggro and resource systems, and cannot do any number crunching bar the time until an ability si read or until a buff/debuff runs out. It can't do the specifics, such as the damage an ability does I am afraid , so I can't track how much DS will heal you for :< However, you can get MSBT which puts icons next to specific heals and damage so you can find out how much DS is healing you that way.

    Actially i was doing a fsat research after posting here (maybe i should have done it first) and i found an addon that does exactly what i just posted .. its called Blood Shield Tracker.. Maybe some Tanks or pvp'ers will get use of that

    Or you could get event horizon instead. A lot cleaner, smaller, and over all more visually appealing. Would post link but on my cell.

    And it is built for unholy and any/ all alts you have.

    just use Blood Shield Tracker you can find it on Curse and Wowace.

    Basicly Death Coil puts a buff on the ghoul. it stacks to 5 then you got DT. DT is up 30 sec. and when you activate the spell DT is on for 30 sec. after DT is finished you have to reapply DC. this cna be done by healing the ghoul or DMG a target.
