How people notice all these bugs in the first place is beyond me. I've been playing since the new patch came out and doing just fine still. MAYBE a bit annoying when I'm trying to do Headless Horseman, but still.

its only a matter of time until blizz ignoring problems in testing and releasing them into live, is met with a "game crushing" class action lawsuit, just like would happen to other "shoddy" manufacturers in other industries. the beauty of this all is they document the errors in their beta testing, prt testing, as well as the posts that they have had posted by testers in their forums.

The fact they document it weakens your case even further. You have the option not to play, and the current state of the service is well documented. The service is always offered as-is. In fact, the only thing you've offered by the Terms of Service is an account - which they are free to close at any time for any purpose. That's what you get for your money. The Terms of Service don't even guarantee you access to the servers, let alone a bug-free experience.

With really skilled lawyers, you'd lose, and owe Blizzard a bunch of money. They have really skilled lawyers as well, and contract law is on their side. Good luck.

And while I disagree with OP and all the whining, I hate when people try and pull this out. It's invalid. You don't need to be able to create something to recognise a bad example of it. I can recognize bad painting, even though I can't paint. I can recognize bad music, even though I don't play an instrument. I can recognize bad writing even though.. no wait - I am an author. AND I can recognize a god-awful game even if I'm not a designer. (Take C&C 4 for example)

The only real difference with people coming here to criticize WoW is that they're not criticizing it because it's a bad game. Oh, sure, thats what they'll say to try and feel like they're not petty. The truth is they're pissed off about some little thing, and when it's fixed, they'll be straight back to playing 6 hours a night. Hell, they're probably still playing 6 hours a night WHILE they consider it broken. They're just venting due to not knowing how to deal with stress, grief, etc. Truth is - they're all fanboys, who are posting threads, on a fansite for the game they love, expressing how much they want it "fixed" - why? Because they LOVE IT.

Headless horseman...? Is that the most annoying thing you have done since the patch? Have you even tried PvP? Wait til you get 2 shotted by a frost mage or something and tell me how fineit is... And if you even tried low lvl pvp, ppl are 1 shotting eatch other. Absolutely no skill. Oh look i got outplayed by that shaman he instant casts lava burst and it crits for 80% of my hp and then he casts earth shock boooom... Oh im bad i deserve to lose. he is super skilled. Try some pvp at least before you speak. Dont come here with PVE headless horseman -.-

Actually, it's a known issue - Zarhym just said they plan to rebalance low level play soon and they're aware of the problems (specifically with Ambush 1-shotting anyone regardless of gear).

As for the bugs:

We're aware of an issue when mousing over interactive objects that may cause a client crash, which is specifically affecting some people's use of the Jack O' Lantern that begins the Headless Horseman event. We're working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, but are likely looking at a fix that will require a client-side patch. The likely earliest date a client-side patch could be released would be Tuesday, October 26.

We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing for participation in this specific event, as well as use of other interactive objects. We'll provide more information and further updates as they become available.

They can't hotfix it.

For a monopoly? That's because they offered PC manufacturers an incentive for pre-installing Windows on PCs, and then bundled included software with it to discourage people from even seeking out alternatives to - for instance - Internet Explorer. (Unless you're referring to the Lindows trademark case, which isn't even remotely comparable).

For the comparison to be valid, Microsoft instead would have to:
1) Not have computers pre-installed with Internet Explorer.
2) Offer Internet Explorer for sale, in a buggy state.

And guess what, if both of those were true, there'd be no monopoly case in the first place.

You have a choice not to buy or play the game. It's a subscription service, you can stop at any time. Your lack of any case knowledge whatsoever means you really need to stop talking.

Not the most annoying. It isn't very annoying at all.

Also, PvP damage wouldn't be a problem if you had enough resilience. Right now, you can stack resilience so high, you get 60% damage reduction, and it used to be 80%.
Also, low-level PvP doesn't matter that much, ESPECIALLY not in a pre-expansion patch, those always makes classes go super out-of-balance.
Also, as mentioned in a previous post, it's on Blizzard's to-do list. So hold your angry horses a bit.

Really, I do PvP, but I don't find the fact that people do "insane" damage annoying at all, because I can heal through it just fine unless several people are on me, or if I get interrupted of course. So don't come here with your "You didn't mention that thing so I'll assume you know nothing about it, lol"-attitude.
