2. OR - open the fridge with your mouth, while standing on a chair that only has 1 leg and balancing a watermelon on your head at the same time. Now THIS sandwich might have an extra slice of cheese and may be 2 more slices of turkey on it, but it's practically the same thing.

And in case you pick number 2 - will you actually feel like you achieved something and not feel cheated and like you wasted a lot of time on nothing?

Im gonna try to explain what i personally understood from that ''hidden message''. There was 2 options in his post. First option was about getting sandwich easy way. Second option was about getting little more extra to that sandwich, but having some more effort to get it.

I think it is, because he wanted to point out, that nowadays people can get really good gear, without really doing nothing (emblems from dungs and norm. modes). But this delicious sandwich with some extra ''cheese'' prolly means heroic gear and such, which really requires something else than just dungeons/norm. modes.

I think it really feels like achieving something, it's not only getting little bit better gear, its also about killing those monsters inside raids. For example, difference between killing Loken and Lich King is so huge... and even when comparing Lich King 10man norm to 25man Heroic. Reason why i call this Lich King 10 vs. 25manhc a huge difference, is that Lich King 25man HC really shows, what kind of beast LK in fact is. And if you've killed Lich King in 25man Heroic, it should mean more for you than some little gear difference.

so if you picked 2 do you think its worth it to choose hard mode just to get ~10 ilvl better loot
