Bad, thank you for posting that. I love it. Chris Kluwe, you have just jumped form someone who I saw maybe in one game a year pending on what games were on, to one of my favorite players in the NFL. That is AWESOME!!!

Wow. I'm not sure what he's responding to (but I will definitely look it up soon), but I think I'm in love as well. We need more people like him.

Edit: Wikipedia gave me some info. Badass. And apparently he's an avid Wow'er.

Also an avid general scifi/nerd guy who plays bass in a rock band with his buddies. Talk about down to earth.

Just read that there is a rumor circulating that the Eagles are interested in signing Brett Favre. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shu...urn=nfl-wp3759

    Thoughts?

I personally think that, while it would be fun to see Favre play another season, he would never do so as the #2 qb to Vick. He has too much pride to come off the bench.

I like you, you are obviously a fellow Ravens fan, but I do not like that post, Hell no. One thousand times no! I am sick and tired of Brett Favre's drama about weather or not he will come back. He is old as shiat and should just be done with football unless he comes back as an analyst or a coach.

Plus Yahoo is terrible, I avoid it for a reason. Not a very reliable news grouping.

Agreed on both parts. Favre should be a coach at best, I don't think he has the voice to be an analyst. Then again, Shaq is gonna be one, soo....

And Yahoo is run by retards. Any sports new I ever go for I check Espn directly.

Oh, and most importantly, it looks like it's over. The players have agreed with the remaining issues. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/67...ts-sources-say

I await the chaos of the oncoming Free Agency with much joy. I hope both sides come off about even so it isn't held over either side next time.

Here's an interesting article on the things we may have forgotten during the lock-out.

And yes, there is some random radio station in Philly who claims the Eagles are interested in Brett Favre.

Glazer's Philly sources have said there's no interest in Favre. Jay isn't wrong a whole lot.

So,in other words, the popular vote is in, and now the representatives have to press the right button?

I guess we can assume it's over, but I'm always skeptical until people show up in stadiums to charge at big giant metal machines.

It's past that now, there's gonna be a football season. No if, ands or buts about it.

@Robby how important do you think Domonique Foxworth will be returning to your defense this year? I hear he's a very underrated DB with the potential to make huge plays. He only has a few picks in the four years he's played, but he can be a hell'uva shutdown and coverage DB. Just wanna get your take, lol.

    NFL is back.

Screw Foxworth, bring back Carr and Wilson! Foxworth can be really good, but more often than not he gets burned. Carr is a killer nickle back, who can fill in in case of injury, Wilson was a godsend last season. I say that we can have Webb and Wilson starting with Jimmy Smith getting playing time, but time to adjust to the NFL as well.

Foxworth wasn't as bad as Frank Walker, but good lord, I would prefer we let him walk. As I have said before, out needs are: #1: Fire Cam Cameron #2: Get another pass rusher. #3: Fire Cam Cameron . #4: Get our Oline set up straight. #5: Fire Cam Cameron. #6: Get some DB help.

Actually, before we even fire Cam Cameron, we need to extend Haloti Ngata's contract, get rid of that Franchise tag.

McGahee is pretty much outta here. Just waiting on the rest of the casualties from the Ravens.

I heard that we cut Kelly Gregg, I hope that we resign him to a lesser salary quickly, because teams have a habit of snatching players that we cut in order to lower their salary *glares at the New York Jets AKA: The AFCN Wannabees*

Yes, please resign Kelly Gregg. I also really want us to keep Leron McClain since reports seem to be indicating we're losing McGahee too,http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6801082/baltimore-ravens-plan-cut-derrick-mason-willis-mcgahee-todd-heap-sources-say. I really want Heap back too, he's a fantastic blocker.

Ozzie just went all out on freeing up cap space. I am verrrrry interested in what we are going to do. With this going on, I won't be surprised if we start chasing Nnamdi at all. We will likely resign Heap, hopefully Mason as well. But holy crap, I don't think I have ever seen something like this before. I told ya'll this was going to be chaotic! I TOLD YA'LL!

Is a corner really worth 18-19 mill/yr? Yeah, he's shutdown,, but is it wise to go all-in and bet the farm for 1 guy. idk

No way would we fork over the entire cap to him. There would be signing bonuses etc. Bonuses don't count against the cap, alos if he came to be that much, we wouldn't go for him. No way is a single player worth that much a year.

I'll be shocked if the Ravens pick up Nnamdi and the Steelers don't. There's so many things we can do to get under the cap right now, and we're gonna have to take a few casualties.

Cut Flozell Adams. He filled in great, sure. He's also getting up there in age and cutting him takes away 50% of our current cap problem. He's not worth it, sorry Flozell. Work out Woodley's franchise tag, that takes eats at it as well. I hate to say it, but... Cut Antwaan Randle El. We have our 5 receiver corp, and they're all young and athletic ('cept Hines. but, he's a monster on the offense and a face of the franchise. he'll stay put.) Moore needs to go. If we get Tiki Barber, we have our third down back. Sure, Moore was great but he'll never get the appreciation he deserves here. It's all about Rashard, which isn't a bad thing. Mendenhall played fantastic last year (Super Bowl fumble aside) and he's gonna be a great RB for years to come. Signing Tiki is an absolute must at this point. We need someone that can not only pick up the 'dirty yards' (3rd and 2 - 3) but able to make receptions at big times. We can't rely on Heath for 10 yard passes all the time. He needs a filler.

The only tricky part here is Ike Taylor. Do we resign him, or cut him and pursue Nnamdi? I mean, we can't have both. We just don't have the cap room. I'll be surprised, though, if we keep Taylor and not pursue Nnamdi. Taylor's great, but he's inconsistent and takes penalties at the wrong time. Can't just rely on Troy and Clarke in the backfield all the time. Nnamdi is a great corner and would look great wearing the Black and Gold.
