Early "reports" flying around have Marcus breaking his femur, chipping his knee cap and tearing all 4 ligaments in his knee.

Forget football, let's all pray he walks again without a limp.

    Yeah pretty much.

Before that injury, the worst one I've seen was the one where the guy (somebody on the bears) pretty much folding his back in half being tackled by a seahawk.

I actually suffered an injury to my knee in high school that's ~somewhat~ similar; essentially half of my knee was ripped in half in addition to the fibular head broken off. I'm running, hiking, climbing and all that jazz just fine; sports medicine has really come a long way.

However forget football. For my injury I was told I should never, ever consider playing college ball. This guy's never going to suit up again.

That's encouraging news. Both the guys I've played with that have broken their femurs can't skate again and while they can walk, it's not necessarily 100%. It is encouraging news, though that people can come back from these injuries and not need wheelchairs and whatnot.

I saw the clip, holy shit. I truly hope he recovers, he had a career in the NFL, and from everything that I heard while watching other games, he is a great guy too.

    Thoughts are with him.

Wow that sucks. He is a cut back runner to and this is just going to destroy that more than likely. Good luck to him in his recovery. If All Day can come back from two torn ligaments in about 8 months and look just as good as ever, maybe this kid can get his form back too.

Well after my promising college football season crashed and burned last night in that maddeningly frustrating Gators game, let's hope my Giants can win a pretty important game against the Cowboys today.

Yep, thats it. Unfortunately I can't really say Seattle played bad. They got completely outplayed. Our defense isn't overlooked anymore, so teams are actually preparing for us.

Ok, Dallas obviously has problems on offense. Romo is sometimes inconsistent, but it's everything else. The offensive line is mediocre. The wide receiver core is young. When Miles Austin is your veteran, you have issues. Plus, with Dez Bryant acting like he's the leader. Jason Witten needs to walk up and give him a Gibbs slap anytime he bitches. Running backs are always hurt, and even healthy, not the best. Felix Jones had such a promising future too.

All in all they may have fixed their defense with the draft and other signings, but their offense needs some major help. It's like they can't be bothered to be balanced. Then again, not many people can claim a good enough running back anymore to consider to be balanced.

Should bench Romo and see what Orton can do at this point. 3 Picks already jeez.

Dallas needs to fire everybody from the owner down to the water boy.

Maybe this embarrassment is what needs to happen for Jerry Jones to wake his ass up and make the proper changes. Every year it's the same story. Penalties and turnovers, how can we have the same problems every year and they never get fixed.

Bad day to be Chiefs fan.

Quinn went off early in the second quarter with a head injury after being hit hard on serial plays, bringing in Matt Cassel back after his concussion the other week (remember where his own fans cheered him getting injured?) to a very quiet reception from the home crowd.

He's being hit hard to the point people are wondering who third string is for KC. Raiders leading 16-6
Ex-Mod. Technically retired, they just won't let me quit.

Dallas just took the lead, in the third quarter. Not sure how two completely different teams play with the same name.

I know right... Hopefully they can keep it up. Sick of hearing Giants fans call our house "Giant's Stadium".

Wow, I predicted that. Dallas driving, late, need a TD to win. All I'm doing is sitting there thinking "I predict an interception". Granted, it's 4th down anyway, but still. Not sure why they were going for the endzone on 4th and 1.

  18. #4118
Welp, I called that from a mile away. 4th down, giants have big pressure on romo, romo throws it in the air and it gets intercepted. Game over.

Ugh I would have rather been blown out than lose like that. No JJ wake up call tonight I guess. "We almost came back and beat em, our football team is in a good place, we're doing just fine!" I expect something like that to come out of his mouth at some point this week.

I kind of feel sorry for the man, it seems like he genuinely doesn't realize that the Cowboys are the joke of the NFL right now.

    Wow... What a Touchdown.

Edit: Actually might be out of bounds.
You can tell WoW changed the MMO for good when players started complaining about the amount of time they sink, into a time sink.
