Denver's getting a beating now by the Patriots, still in the third though, so the Church of St Tebow might turn up in the 4th.

Meanwhile after giving up a guarenteed TD with a fumble, Oakland seems to be holding up the Lions offence for turnover after turnover. Janikowski barely breaking a sweat to kick a 51 yard FG. Looking at other results in the AFC and the way both Oakland and Denver have been playing in the last few weeks, there's an outside chance that the AFC West might just score a wild card.

Once again Lechler kicks to the 1yd line. Oakland's kicking team is just phenomenal.

Tebow can score all the TDs in the 4th quarter he wants. If the defence cannot stop Tom Brady there is no point. Looks like Denver will lose but it wont be Tim Tebow's fault....itll be on the Denver D

What a clutch go ahead drive by Detroit with 39 seconds left from their own 1 yard line. Stafford was just carving up Oakland and Calvin Johnson is a beast! There is still some time left and all Oakland needs is a FG. What a finish this should be!

If we lose this, it's our D just utterly dropping responsiblity at the last minute. If we can use the clock and last two time outs to get Janikowski in range we'll win this, the Pole's on form atm, hell they'll just stop the clock wherever he is at the last second and kick the damn thing. But we should have wrapped this game up now sadly.

Well Seba... if there's ever a time to break a record, now's it.

Bleh, blocked at the line =(

That was a beautiful 29 yard sack.

    Pretty good summation there.

The best part? Giants lost, which makes Dallas's job easier. I think they still gotta win against the Giants though.

I hope Dallas wins the division, they really need to at least get Into the playoffs.
Romo has been fantastic for weeks, the offence has been great also. But the defense Is being annoying as hell. Talk about the most stressful defense to watch In the NFL.

Agreed. Also, I heard a commentator talk about Felix Jones like he's some leper that showed up at practice one day and happened to get backup to Murray. Bottom line: Felix Jones is freaking awesome. When he's healthy, which is about 5% of the time.

I know we just lost, just a minor setback.

    Go Packers!

    On fourth down =(

God that game hurt so badly. How the hell do you fumble and lose the ball three times in a row? Facemask a guy to put Brady in the red zone? Completely miss coverages? Brady's a great quarterback, but holy shit the Broncos made his job a lot easier today.

sigh ... Ravens secondary + Opponent w/ good QB = Ravens lose.

Finally beat the Steelers during the season yet we're once again staring at a Wildcard. All because we lost 3 of the easiest games on our schedule. People in Baltimore can complain all they want this week, but this is a perfect example why the Steelers are always mentioned as one of the Elite teams and the Ravens are only one of the 'good teams'.

Well, I dunno if I would call SD an easy game. Rivers was in a serious funk for a while and Norv was making some god-awful coaching decisions, but The Chargers still have one of the most physically talented teams in the league. Rivers finally got into his usual groove and the game decisions by coaches have been good.

Sorry, I probably worded that poorly. Definitely didn't mean the Chargers were an easy game. I was talking about the Titans, Jags and Seahawks games. I can take a lose to Philip Rivers and that receiving corp., but I have to admit ... watching my team make Norv Turner look like a good coach makes me throw up in my mouth a little. -.-

This video needs to be plastered on the TV's in every locker room in the NFL. And James Harrison should be forced to watch it 1000 times.

Proof that it's entirely possible to make a HUGE hit and not break a rule. Brady got absolutely crushed. This is how you do it. Textbook. The slo-mo is great.

Outstanding hit. Almost restores my faith in the modern day sissified NFL.

But if Harrison makes that hit, he's flagged and fined for driving the QB into the ground. You know it's true (and all the haters would be saying he should be kicked out of the league for trying to kill Brady).

And if Brady flinches or ducks at the last second, it's H2H. No way Elvis could have avoided it. If Brady's arms don't stop upward momentum (props to Brady for holding onto the ball), Elvis slides upward just through sheer momentum, the top of his helmet barely nudges Brady's facemask, and it's a foul. Nobody should lead with the crown of their helmet nor intentionally hit someone in the head. But shit happens.

Another ETA: notice how Elvis' head is DOWN as he makes his lunge? I thought that was a no-no? No? Only when Harrison does it? Ok...

What the hell Indy? You had a chance to solidify the Andrew Luck sweepstakes and then this happens? Now they have to worry about the Vikings and Rams taking away Luck.

Honestly I don't think either one of those teams would take Luck at the first spot. Both teams just invested high picks in QBs in the last two years with Bradford and Ponder. You know what they would do? Trade that pick like it was covered in lava get at least two firsts, two seconds, and maybe a couple additional picks for it. It would be like hitting the lottery big time. Washington, Kansas City, Denver, Indy, Jacksonville, Miami, and Cleveland would be all over that trade in a heartbeat. The price one of those teams would pay for Luck would be astronomical. I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being three first round picks in the deal. I'd throw Seattle in there too but I'm not convinced they aren't going to roll with TJax or draft Barkley because they aren't a terrible team.

Truth be told, if I am Indy I absolutely do the same thing. Luck is great, but that team is fucking horrible everywhere but quarterback as it is. No team in the NFL could use more rebuilding pieces than Indy and trading out of Luck would bring them a boatload of rebuilding pieces. Assuming they can still land in the mid-first they could still get a guy like Barkley who has a lot of potential as an NFL QB.

Anyone else absolutely pulling for Philly to win the NFC East? All they need is to beat Dallas this week and Washington next week, have the Giants lose to the Jets and then beat the Cowboys in the final week. Philly essentially needs things to go right for them in two games and they will make the playoffs despite their horrible start to the year. That isn't even that far-fetched of a playoff scenario. Imagine if they had managed to not have their receivers drop and fumble their first four losses of the year away.

The Green Bay egg laying festival killed me yesterday. First in my league going into the playoffs. Rodgers, Finley, the kicker, and the defense put up horrible games. Benson didn't do nearly as well against the Rams as he should have. I ended up losing by 30 so even if I had started Tebow and CJ Spiller I would have lost by about 15. Another year of fantasy disappointment. I am the Washington Capitals (or the Dallas Cowboys for a more NFL friendly reference). Regular season champion, playoff disappointment.

Knox had back surgery today. That hit yesterday was probably the ugliest thing I have ever seen in the NFL. Expected recovery is only 3-4 months to repair a joint though so hopefully he will be fine.
