The "will leave" part is not all that simple I reckon. Cold blooded murder like this, they might give him life without parole. Also, this joke needs to be augmented to include his position as "Full Back"

Im usually one to give athletes the benefit of the doubt when cases get brought against them. I never bought into Kobe's rape case for example, but man this trial has guilty written all over it. The more read the more I think Hernandez is done and wont see the light of day for a long time and good riddance I say. Anyone that cowardly to execute a supposed friend should be removed from this planet immediately. This is so much worse than the Ray Lewis trial, its hardly even comparable.

I also find it sad that the general public seemed more up in arms at Michael Vick killing dogs than it is about Aaron Hernandez killing a human being.

Life of a dog > the life of a human to the public.

They are now trying to connect him to an unsolved triple homicide involving a drive by shooting that happened a year ago. He was seen arguing with the victims at a club a few hours before they were killed.

    Denied bail.

    Not surprising though.

Well that's just brilliant. So he's not just a criminal, neck deep involved in a murder case, but possibly a cold blooded killer with more then 1 case against him. I shouldn't be surprised anymore, but I still am. Can't believe someone this shady would play for a football team, let alone the Patriots.

And yeah, no bail is no surprise. He's got every reason to get the hell away now. If he's this cold blooded I don't think skipping bail is going to worry him much if he got the chance.

Here is the link to the article about what I posted earlier. It was actually only 2 people who were killed, the third man in the car survived his wounds. The article actually states that these murders might possibly be a link to the motive in the murder he is being charged for. Alleging that Lloyd might have been killed because he knew about these murders from a year ago.

NFL top 10 is tonight, only watching it because its interesting to see the player interviews.

Oh, just heard that selfie of Hernandez with the gun is the same one that they saw him on surveillance soon after the murder.

What a god damned dumb ass. Rank 1 retard.

This guy is rewriting the ranks of retardation. The cops found that SUV involved in the shooting last year. It was rented by Hernandez. He has rented two cars involved in murders and took zero precautions to protect himself like getting an entourage member to rent it or some shit. What a fucking moron.

I'm surprised he wasn't caught back then then with how sloppy he was with this one.

Wow, Percy Harvin got pulled over in Washington, cops brought him into the station on suspicion of DUI and apparently he wasn't under the influence and released with no traffic violation. Bitch got lucky. Then again cops have to do that here if they even think they are under the influence because pot is legal here now.

This is why I don't watch this shit. Aaron Rodgers #6.

  11. #7771
I personally feel Rodgers should be the number one QB again, but there's no way in hell the players weren't going to have Manning as the best QB after coming back from his injury the way he did.

I've found the list to be biased like that. Players seem to be more aware of physicality, former glory, and team succes and rate these traits higher. I mean apparently Manning was still on the list last year, even though he didn't play a down of football, and made it to the 50's on the list. That alone tells you players are just as much biased as journalists or fans are, and this list isn't more special compared to either of those other 2 groups doing a top 100.

I'm glad they at least put AP at no.1. He deserved that spot fully, and I still think it's a shame he didn't scrounge those 7 or 8 yards he needed for the single season record somewhere.

AFAIK they were told in 2012 to vote for the players they felt would be the best in the following NFL season. In that respect, Manning being present made a lot of sense. Unfortunately most of the list ended up being based on the 2011 season, so I think this year they just kept it that way.

Let's not take too much away from Manning, though. He led the NFL in QBR and may not have had as good of a TD/INT, but the difference between 39/8 and 37/12 isn't that big (especially when you consider Manning never threw for more than 3 TD's in a game the whole season). I'd still personally put Rodgers ahead because of his mobility, but the gap isn't that big.

Darelle Revis @ 67... yeah I don't think players listened, as Darelle BARELY played all season.

No wonder the Jets were keen to get a QB this off season, apparently Mark Sanchez isn't very smart socially

Not really a surprise when you look around you in life to realise the number of completely well adjusted people that have no issues in the NFL is just as bad as outside the NFL. Being good at football doesn't cure what ails people, just makes them rich enough to make spectacular fools of themselves in the process.

The thing is that they didn't exactly pick well with their new QB.

But, lets say that Sanchez was a good QB, would this even be news? Hardly.

Maybe, maybe not. Gronkowski partying without a shirt on was news too, and he's probably the best at his position available right now. I think it's mostly the story around it, it not being the first time he's done dumb shit. Takes a small step to go from dumb, but harmless shit to dumb, got-my-ass-suspended shit.

I probably agree with you on them not picking an upgrade on QB though, but time will tell. I won't write Smith off as a QB before I've seen him in action, and he's had the time to learn.

I thought about Gronk after posting that. iirc his whole partying thing sorta started with the pictures with the porn star.

I still stand by it though. I doubt it would be headline worthy.

So the Pats will let people trade in their Hernandez jerseys for an equal value jersey.

Very cool move. I wonder how many people still have Atlanta Vick jerseys floating around after everybody burned them.

Yeah pretty cool move, people with a jersey they don't want to wear get one they do and the Patriots don't have the embarresment of seeing Hernandez's name with their team name and logo in places. Win/win I reckon.

Also, pretty predictably, Patriots have started on voiding his contract guarantees, and trying to get money back, or prevent having to pay him. Whatever happens though he'll still be in the books for 7,5M in 2014. Ouch.
