I have a twitch reaction when spiders crawl onto me, though I've never experienced allowing a tame spider to crawl on me before, so I wouldn't know how I'd go. Situations like spider in bath towel, spider on foot at computer desk and spider crawls onto head after picking up flower pot aren't conducive to knowing how brave you have to be to have a pet spider!

Also, speaking of 'scary' pets, my little brother was drunk at a mate's place once, and when he passed out his mate pulled out his pet snake and put it right up to my brother's face and woke him up.

That doesn't look like a bird in it's mouth...

Birds are expensive! Id rather feed it a mouse as big as it. They are the second biggest tarantulas in the world. Their leg span is 1ft. Also given their name they really don't eat birds they eat mice and big bugs but hardly ever eat birds.
