most 1080p anime are just upscales, I don't bother to download a 1080p version if it's a TV release. If it's blu-ray, then yes.

yup...unfortunately for some of the 720p stuff can be 500mb+ sometimes verging on 1gig per episode...that's why i have been dl'ing the Hi10 stuff...encoded properly most of the 720p stuff in 150meg or lower at minimum quality loss (i can't even tell on most)

I actually haven't seen it yet because I was watching Magi, but there hasn't been talk about it yet on GG's blog post on it.

Also, with Magi's current pacing it really feels like it is going to be at least 24 episodes. It almost feels like it could just keep going and going as it catches up with the manga, but I doubt it would actually work like that. With it's ratings though it should definitely get a second season if it is only 1 or 2 cour though.

Do mine eyes deceive me or does the Ro-Kyu-Bu! BR Box Set come with a sheet with all the characters? Hnnng that second picture. Only $230 too...

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha i read the manga based of the light novel and its not bad or anything but it isnt something great either ^^ i will watch it but it will probably be only a 4 or 4.5/5 :X
