10m tank question.

Can anyone on the beta tell me how many 10 man raid boss fights (that you know of) are currently designed around having only 1 tank?

A question like this would generally require some research to be answered, research he could do just as easily as anyone in the beta could.

The man has a point, it's not that hard to look up the new Cataclysm raid encounters on any given website and find out yourself.

You can do Algaroth the Tol Barad raid boss with one tank if you have a pro tank and healers.

i dont believe u can because of the debuff the boss does after you are hit with his aoe.. does something like 200% increased dmg... unless u could hold out till the flames, but u need ridiculous dps to get him down fast enough

Nope, if your tank and healers stagger CDs its very possible. Our second tank died at around 50% and we did fine. The thing is, when you one tank it you have -everyone- behind the tank, so the cleave is split much more than it is when you two tank it.

From my raiding experience on beta every fight requires two tanks except a few:

Cho'gall (need two tanks on Heroic)
Al'Akir (can be solo tanked with decent kiters, will need two on Heroic)
Atramedes (not sure about Heroic, but definitely solo tankable on normal)
Valiona/Theralion (need two tanks on Heroic)
