The Hatred

I'm new to the forum but not new to WoW. I'm setting myself up here, but I'm curious as to the response. Why do WoW players seem to hate each other? I know not all do but it seems they do.
Examples of what I'm talking about:

Example A
Character A says "S*&*ty tank!!!"
Character A leaves party.

Example B
Character A "What the F*&* are you doing? You retarted? Why the hell would you not heal me in time!!" (lol)
Charatcer B " Sorry I'm new to healing. I'm trying me best"
Character B "GOD HDLKJGDSLKJDHALH YOU SUCK!! Quit you life"
Character B Leaves party.

Not just in the game folks. Right here in your forum. People seem post replies just to ridicule. Need an example? Just read that next few replies.

No real world consequences for your actions. It's the internet, you have this veil of secrecy between you, and the other guy.

because
1. people always expect to group with skillful players but this is impossible
2. they forget this is a teamwork to run an instance

Sadly, you encounter these types of players on every realm. Ones who think just because they get a raid achievement first or hit a high dps mark, they have earned the right to berate other players and act like online tough guys/girls. For me unfortunately we have a whole raid guild full of such elitist morons that do it in trade virtually every day.
