New Shadow Orb Animation?

Is it just me or are there new shadow orb animations? I think they look freaking sweet.

I would imagine the orbs at our feet was a bug, cause orbs always looked better on beta.

It was meant to surround is, but it didn't, but since they anyway had a new design in store to release, they didn't care about fixing it.
