Right guys, I know we're pretty lenient to this thread in general, but do try to stay at least somewhat on-topic. And keep the brandbashing to a minimum.

@Xuvial, that edit was so hilarious I posted it to my facebook status. ^_^
@tetrisGOATWITHCAPZ: Yes ma'am, I'm sorry ma'am, anything for you ma'am. :3 :P
@Kuddly: We'll have to make it work man! I know it will work! (You'll just have plenty of unused power.) What you need to do is FOLD and BENCH!!!!
That's alright then, no biggie as far as gaming goes. Really, everything in that build is excellent (case, GPU, etc) with the exception of just the motherboard and CPU. But now that you have a full system it'll be easy to upgrade those two things whenever you want
Have fun with it! I highly recommend grabbing a decent heatsink now (or later), you'll be able to overclock that i7 950 to 3.8-4ghz quite easily. Overclocking that CPU will give your entire system a noticeable kick in horsepower especially with future games/applications that become more and more demanding on your system.
You bought a chipset that's 2 generations behind the latest stuff so overclocking is recommended ^_^

FX-6100 quad clocked at 3.3GHz, with a Turbo Core boost to 3.9GHz $155
FX-8120 8 core, clocked at 3.1GHz and boosted to 4GHz, will retail for $185
FX-8150 8 core 3.6GHz/4.2GHz will retail for $230.
It really doesn't matter if the bulldozers are faster, with the price difference if they are close then it is a new Price/Performance winner.
I sold my I7-960 system not long ago.. to tell you the truth I never had a reason to overclock it, although I did just for shits and giggles. You won't really have to do so for a few years down the road when the gaming requirements are much higher.

Seems like there are different price-points all over the internet. Wait for them to be released and then check their prices. I just recently read about the i7-2700K.... should be interesting.... for us OC'ing nerds. Though I see no reason to buy one personally. My 2500K is doing quite nicely at 4.5GHz. http://www.overclockers.com/intel-i7...pricing-scale/
Oh man the Sabertooth non-armor'd looks smexy... o.o
That said, gratz on mod tetris.
And that said, welp, I think my "new" motherboard is coming in today or tomorrow after its' little detour to my old address...
wasn't there testing linked somewhere with the saberooth, with armor, without armor, fan etc and the temp differences were like 1 or 2 degrees if that, might look nice, but it'd need some work done to it to be worth it
looks nice, though i'd love some covers for unused pci slots etc, and maybe some red trimming (or blue etc, color of choice) :P
To be blunt, if you want blue... go with almost literally any other LGA 1155 motherboard out there. If red there's Asus Maximus IV.

i prefer red, was just saying as a customisation option the armour could come with red/blue/green etc trimmings
my mobo is blue, and i don't have a window on my case anyway, so internal colouring makes minimal difference to me :P
Wtb moar green and black motherboards pl0x. I wonder when the G1 killer is going to be released?

True, I forget those guys all the time. They are hard to come by here. :P
Whats with all the boring texts?! Show us how your gaming setup/corner/table or w/e looks instead, lot more fun and attach some text on the pic/link!
