Doesn't matter if it's push or pull if you're only using fans on one side.

The fan won't fit on the other side because of the heatspreaders on my ram . Would it hurt if I moved my ram into slots 2 and 4?

It does matter when he already has an exhaust fan 2 inches behind it.

If I did that I could move the fan onto the other side. Other than that any other comments on my gaming setup?

Looks pretty good, whats up with the fans under the GPU though?

Now that I think about it I'm not really sure. Guess I should switch the 2 cards around so the fans are on top of the GPU.

Well I was more wondering what the purpose are for them at all. Do they actually do something for you except for creating extra noise and the blue lights?

They move a decent amount of air and granted if I turn it all the way up it make lots of noise but around half they don't make much noise. I don't mind a little fan noise.

They move air yes, they are fans. But do they actually give you a noticeable benefit? Have you compared for example the GPU temps with and without those fans installed?

I haven't ran any tests as of yet. I will tomorrow and let you know the results.

But if you have a gaming computer, why should you be stuck having to play shoddy console-ports? We've had the technology to play PC-variants for years.

Or maybe it was just sarcasm on his part saying he wished had better after seeing all these awesome builds, unfortunately that's hard to tell sometimes from reading one random comment.

Asus 27 inch monitor, with the razer deathstalker and razer naga epic. The box under the monitor is my audio interface (Focusrite sapphire 6 USB) that i use for audio processing, it's a hub for my microphones and guitar/bass. The speakers are KRK Rokit 5's.

i just put this all together a few days ago and plan on getting some nicer seconday screens someday. i am working on a home recording studio so building a sick desktop was my first major piece. I can overclock the shit out of it and it's got more than enough power for audio processing/editing.

Ran 3DMark11 bench test and with fans on had a low temp of 25c and a high of 59c
With the fans off doing the same test had a low temp of 27c and a high of 61c
So a few degrees difference but not that big of a difference

Rewired, looks a little neater but not by much. I taped up the loose fan wires before I closed it up though. Apparently I have to replace one of the fans on my H80 though as it is now dead.

I got a Seagate Momentus XT the other day, and all I can say is, don't ever buy one for a Steam drive. I copied all my Steam data to the new drive after I configured it, and games lag like crazy and there are no bad sectors on the drive. It's just a lousy piece of garbage compared to a mechanical drive, at least my 2TB SATA 2 mechanical drive wasn't causing lag problems and hang ups in my games.
