Have you used Steam in home streaming? With a good wireless network there is a negligible amount of input lag. Also since i dont have more than one xbox i could have this attached to a racing rig and stream forza without having to move my xbox. The wife likes to use the main TV a lot which has my XBone on it. With this in a different room ill be able to play games without having to wait for her to be done with a Netflix marathon. Wont be doing it for online gaming.

Also there is this idea. Once this technology get perfected, adopted by other companies, and input lag is next to nothing at all you will be able to have one small PC in every room and a closet with a gaming rig, and your consoles. Youll be able to have one device in your entertainment center instead of Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, and PC boxes cluttering up your shelves.

And it's time for some upgrades, decided to buy following parts for my PC.

    • CPU: Intel Core i7-4790k 4.0Ghz
      • Cooler: Corsair H110
    • MB: Asus Maximus VII Ranger ATX LGA1150
    • PSU: Corsair RM 850W 80+ Gold
    • Case: Corsair 500R Black ATX Mid Tower

Salvaging Windows 7 Home, 1TB HDD, 128GB SSD, CD drive, 16GB RAM and MSI GeForce GTX 980 -GPU from old computer. I'll upload some pics once it's done and running, they'll most likely arrive during next week.

Just wondering if I should buy fans with red lights or not.

If it's going to match the rest of your build why not go with the reds? Though if you really want some trippy reds look at these Enermax's and you can stare at the LED pattern for a few hours
If you must insist on using a non-sanctioned sitting apparatus, please consider the tensile strength
of the materials present in the object in question in comparison to your own mass volumetric density.

In other words, stop breaking shit with your fat ass.

Small update from me. Will clean the inside of the case soon, I'll take a few photos of the new PSU, and hopefully by then, a new GPU.

Please use thumbnails in the future. I thumb'd this one for you. - Cilraaz

That headset looks so comfy. But ugly.

It is ugly, no other colors available (Logitech Logic), but very, very comfy

There are way better options in the same price range.
But the Corsair RM series have the prettier cables. (and yes, I dislike Corsair PSUs, but the cables!)

Plenty of information, which I can't even understand ~ English isn't my main-language. So, should I just send the PSU back and get another one, or will this do the job just fine (GTX 980 2-SLI)?

My employer/co-worker suggested this PSU for me.

It will be fine, but he's saying it isn't very good value, ie, you could've gotten a slightly better PSU for slightly less money with less ripple.
At the end of the day, it's still a quality PSU and I would not worry. And they still have 5 years of warranty.

If you can and don't mind bothering with the return, yes. Personally id recommend a brand like Evga's supernova G2. It will work fine though.

I've been purchasing PC's from that local shop for several years now, and so far I've been happy with them. Even my current PC is purchased from there, and is using Chieftec's 750W PSU, even tho fast Google search now shows that it isn't that great. Oh well, couple years onward and I'll be upgrading my PC again ~ maybe I'll ask here with PC upgrades, such as PSU, instead of local computer-shop.

But as long as the Corsair's one is doing it's job for me, I don't really care. And if it starts going crazy, I'll just return it and exchange into something better.

Did you actually see the charts? Only the Seasonic G is better lol and runs at high rpm from low wattage to get 5 degrees less. So i don't know what that poster smokes, he actually showed corsair being better than the other four on charts but he says different?

Considering there's like a billion versions of Corsair RM.
They're made by Chicony and CWT.
CWT has well, quality check problems at points. The RM by CWT uses Capxon capacitors, not the worse but not great for that price range. Chicony ones use Ltec, which are pretty bad. CWT can make some pretty good things, but they also make shit, which is also partially why I don't trust them as a OEM.
There's supposedly a different build of RM out. You have to go by the serial number however to get it. No reviews of it are out though.
Person that made the post should know that XFX XTR is a derivative of SeaSonic X gold series, not SeaSonic G series. I'm not an expert but hell even I know that.

RM series isn't the worse performing ones, but the build quality isn't on par to the competition.

    EVGA GS 750

The only reason to use Ltec and Capxon is to reduce cost. Some costs of the aforementioned PSU models have also gone down in price a bit so it's really very hard to consider an RM when you have better built stuff from others.
