Shit that actually looks divine. Lemme see if Amazon has it.
Edit: nvm, if Im going to spend that much Klipsch is on my radar, I cant though, my wifey got me the Razer Leviathan set...so a big sigh.
I know I was just being dippy.
I got the B350 Tomahawk from MSI. It matches my Intel setup, and this Mortar board is pretty nice. So if there is any similarities then its a plus.
I usually buy Gigabyte, I have one now in a 6600k setup and in my sons weekend PC here, but they have weird issues. Both Z170X UD3s cpu fan headers stopped working. Within a week of each other. They have cpu-opt headers so I run the cpu fans off those, and everything is fine. RMAs to Gigabyte aren't that great so unless one completely craps out I'll just keep them.
So lately I have been using MSI.
When the z68 z77 came out I was uing Asus, cant tell you how many boards came with bent pins. I was able to fix them but a real pain so thats when I switched to Gigabyte, never had any issues until the Z170 boards.
I guess thay all have their moments but damn these MSI boards are secksie.

Installing PCI-E Riser

I sat alone in the dark one night, tuning in by remote.
I found a preacher who spoke of the light, but there was Brimstone in his throat.
He'd show me the way, according to him, in return for my personal check.
I flipped my channel back to CNN and lit another cigarette.
How much space is there between the graphics card and the case side panel? It looks like your graphics card's fans are probably starved for air.
I'm going to guess and hope there's at least a solid inch of space between the side panel and the card. I do like the look of this though! Did you do any testing to see if the PCI-E riser affects GPU performance? Maybe run some Time Spy/Firestrike Ultra benches and compare? I'd be very interested to see that!
There's about an inch. Maybe a little more. I didn't measure that to be honest. My temps did go up by about 3-4 degrees. At 100% load for an extended period (RB6 at 4k) it hit 78-79 degrees with the fans running 75%. Have my temp limit set to 85, and no OC on it at this time, so I saw no thermal throttling.
Will try out the 3dmark tests when i have some time and will give you an update as far as the riser goes.

LOL Looking back to earlier posts from 2010... When crysis was a benchmark game. Funny stuff.
Looks good Tharin. Btw those ram slots. Aint you supposed to run dual sticks at dimms A2 and B2 first? Seems yours from the picture is at A1+B1. Not saying its a problem but thats what most manufacturers advise to use first
Dunno for current boards if it does make a difference but afaik the further ones from the cpu were better for stability especially for overclocked ram speeds. Most manufacturers were advising so, maybe you could have a look at your manual saying anything about it. Either way no big deal just seemed strange to me when i looked at that photo heh.
